how do you make this leap without anyone actually saying this?I didn't say the nikka Knx established the lane wtf is wrong with y'all's reading skills, just making up shyt jumping to wild conclusions instead of reading the words in front of your face
I said he JUST seen this man win a Grammy (without having to deal with typical rap bullshyt) and got inspired to move that way himself with a r&b artist, producers do shyt like that all the time
All the rest of that shyt you just made up cuz I never said it, I know badu listens to alot of dusty rap and the producers in that lane you not providing any new information here![]()

ExactlyGood point, it def feels like an (official) mash up or blend. I forgot who said it but apparently Badu will have her assistant pull up all the major beats a producer made and she'll listen to them while deciding if she wants to work with you. I can def imagine her hearing The Realest and it resonating with her enough to want to sing over it. Which is fine, I have no issue with her creative process. I just was disappointed by the track.
Like I said...still super excited for the album.
The original “Bag lady” is the one on the album. The single is a remix, but the single released ahead of the album though. It and Xxxplosive sample a song called “Bumpy’s Lament”.
Actually I think “Bag Lady” might have sampled “Xxxplosive”. shyt got me curious now so I’m gon go read about it…. The run back through Mama’s gun on the way home from work!
I didn't really like that song until I heard the album version. It brought out the lyrics more. That album was fire and reminds me of a different timeEverybody must have forgot the original Bag Lady had the XXplosivebeat, then it was a completely different PIFF on Mama's Gun
