I live in the United States
I'll post pictures momentarily.

It was from Monoprice, and it was rather inexpensive cuz you know how us broke nikkaz roll :comeon:

Anywayz, the boxing is really nice. Quality like the box a pair of Jordans would come in.

I'm about to hookup the toslink and hop on Battlefield to test out the ambiance :blessed:

I'll let you know if its worth it Coli and @Kamikaze Revy. I know you splurged already, but these bad boys is exactly what you was asking for. Reviews say sound quality wise these things are
The mic.. :patrice: ehhhh not so much. But can be replaced with a better one. I can also use Kinect if its that bad :hula: or the OG xbox mic in conjunction. I'm not pressed for all that, I just want 7.1 quality.

TBC sooner than later...

7.1 quality headphones? :ohhh: put me on game
Well Monoprice has them, but the sale is over. They are $80 now (was $40)
Wireless, has a dongle that plugs into your XB1 or PS4's optical out
Instant work out the box :win:
I played an entire level in RYSE and the sound was crisp. But I need to see whats good with a FPS to really know whats good. So I'll get back to you shortly

microsoft.com has Polk Audio headset for $47 (usual price is $80) if you looking for a headset, that would be the best/cheapest route to go
Yo, 15hrs of battery life. So far, flawless. Haven't played online so I haven't tested out the mic yet
I was wrong about using multiple headsets for cha :stop:
What is needed is for it to be plugged into the XB1 controller to allow voice chat (voice chat can't be sent and received via toslink/optical, thats why it gotta be if)
The solution to remain totally wireless, if you have Kinect. Then you can just talk and it sounds good enough as long as you sitting close enough to kinect. No game sound blasting over your voice. And you can control voice volume via the headset :tu:

But sound is on point, I'm very satisfied off of first use

Ok, I first would like to direct everyone to this...

http://www.gamerawr.com/2014/02/23/xbox-one-headsets-surround-sound-adapters-fact-fiction/

Once you have been enlightened, I have to say. While these are 7.1 joints.. or are they :wtf:
I guess they not.... and that is a good thing apparently :win:

So, what these be? True Wireless Headphones for XB1. And the sound?
Well, it sure does appear to be surround sound. I googled which games make the most/best use of sound and GTA5, BF4 where the two that came up the most.

I popped in GTA5, spawned in my house. First thing I noticed was the radio that was playing in my room :leon:
You see brehz, in GTA5 you spawn in the walkway facing the front door of your apartment. While you may notice music, when its in surround sound it stands out a little more. So I end up closing my eyes and just slowly walking in circles. It seemed like the music was slowly revolving around me.

So after testing GTA, Ryse and Forza F'n Furious I decided to try out Netflix.
Right now I'm typing and watching/listening to Bad Boys II. Action packed movie, shyt going down
I can confirm that the sound is what I was hoping for. I hear shells landing all over the place.

If most review places didn't shyt on surround sound headsets, I'd have spent $200 recently on this Turtle I been scoping out. I'm so fukkin glad I didn't :win:

When I mentioned the Sony golds you wrote a paragraph about how stereo headphones are so much better than surround sound headphones. You even cited other web pages to support your point that stereo is better. Now that you found ones that are compatible with the Xbox one, surround sound is the truth.

In another post you were bigging up your little sound bar calling it, and I quote," a home theatre experience" and you don't even have a subwoofer.

Your flip flopping Stan fest didn't cease as now you are saying surround sound is the best and you found some amazing head phones that are so good you consider wearing TWO headphones at once to supplement the garbage head set those magic headphones have. Sitting 6 inches from the Kinect because your headset sucks is the dumbest idea I've ever heard.

But I'm seeing you're very happy with that mediocre solution so more power to you.
Makes no real difference to me to be completely honest.

Let me slow ya roll just a lil bit. This headset is not 7.1. And when I posted a video and images of it in that other thread before I ordered the thing, you could see that. So you went off the thread title without actually taking in the info that was in the thread... Your bad

Now, the reason for the confusion is becasue they do have 7.1's but they for X360/PS3. And I got confused at one point :manny:

Now, for communication. I don't need two headsets. It comes with a 3.5mm adaptor that fits into the controller with the adaptor on it. Then thru that you can chat. The game sound comes via the toslink.
I read that the chat and game sound come via the controller when hooked up that way.. that was incorrect info from my end. Already cleared up, but now its totally cleared up :win:

If you didn't wanna be connected to a controller at all, that is where Kinect comes into play. Now, you made a little comment about how you didn't wanna use Kinect/etc :stop: The shyt works flawlessly bruh so you can shut that bullshyt up right nuh. Kinect works if you wasn't using a headset, it has technology built in to mute out game sounds to you while boosting my voice. But since I have a headset, its clear. I sit about 13ft from my TV/Kinect. Held down a normal convo like if I had a headset on (Tru Story)

Now, I'm not gonna sit here and tell you I KNEW it would be flawless. But so far, so good
So, wireless like you wanted, impeccable sound? And if you peep my 3rd post in THIS THREAD, you will see all I been doing is dropping that real. So my impressions? I'm loving it, it has made me wanna game MORE. i beat two games yesterday. I'm gonna hope on BF:Hardline in a minute. I can watch TV in them as well. And the coolest part I just found out. When I turn my TV on, then put on the headphones? The headphones are the only one giving out sound until I hit volume up with my voice/tv remote. So I don't have to constantly toggle which device I wanna use for sound :blessed:
