:what:

The sixers are definitely a playoff team without Bynum, We already have a top 5 defense in the NBA and now we actually have some scoring which is why we're scoring 104ppg in the preseason so far without Bynum and we're 5-1 soon to be 6-1 since we're whoopin the Knicks asses right now too. :heh:

Yeah i know it's preseason but the teams we beat were playing their starters the whole game so that's a good measuring point in my eyes .:manny:

It's the preseason. Teams are chucking up shots and halfassing it on defense so that they can save their energy. It only means something to the guys trying to get precious playing time or a roster spot.

how so? they got rid of iggy and his contract. you weren't going anywhere with iggy as your main horse. plus you got turner waiting to take his spot. bynum is a free agent after this year. you can either let him walk and get $16 million in cap space. or you can trade him. im sure teams will make an offer for an all star center. or if you think he is healthy enough sign him to a long term deal. but at least now you have options

iggy contract ends this season too, he may have a player option...
with dat said u still better off with iggy u could have gave him a solid deal
But Bynum gonna ask for a max deal
imo... it's too risky

He's taking that player option. He'd be an idiot not to.

We'll see this season if Bynum's worth the risk. People forget that he's much closer to home in Philly. That's gonna do wonders to him not being a malcontent.

Part of why Kahn didn't pursue him further is because he thinks Iggy will opt out to pursue a longer term deal while being part of a weaker FA class.

What did we lose really...we are a good team without him...potential great team with him...Iggy is easily replaced by Young and richardson and Turner....let him sit till he is healthy we are the 2nd best team in the conference and he is the only chance we have to beat the heat

This fool didn't even cite sources, he just said "getting the sense". That's just him throwing bullshyt out there just like that bytch that was talking about Lebron going to the Lakers. Dudes need to start losing they jobs over that bullshyt. You can't be allowed to just make shyt up and throw it out there.

as for Bynum, the Sixers were going to bring him along slowly just like the Lakers were going to do with Dwight. It's the smartest thing to do in their situation.

Since when did missing pre-season become such a big fukking deal?
