And I hope yall know that any big time college sports program would've reacted the same way Ohio State did.

USC
Alabama
Michigan
Oklahoma
etc

It ain't fair, but they are not gonna jeopardize millions for a player who will be there 4 yrs tops.

We all love our teams, but a logical person realizes that these university are merely factories.

The only argument i have for that (and your 100% correct) is that. They can jeopardize those millions. but them losing millions is nothing to them in the grand scheme. but some who had to make the decision jeapordizing this kids future is nothing to them either :(

True.

The shyt is a dirty game. And the part about it being set up for them to end up back in the hood if they dont make it to the next level, is true.

That is why education is so important and I wish more took it seriously.

Great 30 for 30.

Maurice was the a victim of the times. It seems crazy that so many people thought a kid confessing and being honest of being broken down by 20 would be considered being selfish. Now with all the focus on injuries and concussion at the pro level, I wouldn't be surprised if a once in a lifetime player just sits out a year because they're too scared to get injured.

No excuses for Maurice once he got to the NFL though. He he had his chance. At least he turned his life around.

Man to this day I am still :wow: over the Clarett situation...cause all he had to do is keep it together for 2 more years...and he would have gotten SOME nfl money

It always makes me :wow: whenever someone is close to making it and it all falls down...that must really suck to look back and be like...i...was...right...there :wow:
