No way RIGHT NOW is Steph a top 25 player to ever do it.
That hype machine is strong. I'm surprised he's not higher, but really I'm not. Despite the opinions of 90's babies, they couldn't seriously put him higher than that, so what they do instead? Try to hit you with that subliminal putting him at goat #23...can't outright put the crown on him but still tryna be slick with it. I see you, ESPN

thats cuz the east wasnt chit that year. and they got knocked out by the hawks, who went and got swept right afterwards.

wade never won chit as a clear-cut #1 option. that '06 chip was 1A with shaq at 1B and a stacked roster of vets behind em.

of course i watched wade. thats what im basing my chit on. that good ole eye test. wade is more of a stat-stuffer, i give him that, but its alot of stat-stuffers that didnt even make the list.
:russ:

So much bullshyt in this post. I can tell you never watched those mid-00s Heat teams. You're so transparent.

:dahell: what is that?

So Shaq, a guy who averaged 18 points per game in the playoffs, was a 1B option to Wade who averaged ten points more (TWENTY points more in the FINALS) and had the offense run through him as the primary facilitator. Let's not even talk about how Shaq shot bricked 63% of his FT's. Your eye test is bad

im talking about the entire season.

not just the finals where wade was gifted all those FTs, against an already soft team.

Who do you believe that will be on this list is worse than him?

hes the goat to alot of people.

only people that should be allowed ahead of dude are wilt, russell, jordan & kareem. and i bet thats the top 4, but judging by how the list has gone thus far, i wouldnt be surprised if they boost bird to top 4.

Shaq averaged 19 points per game over the totality of the '06 season including both stages, compared to Wade's 27ppg while leading the team in assists. This isn't a 1A/1B relationship like Kobe & Shaq. He wasn't close to his former dominance with LA and was clearly a support player to Wade who led the team.

The refs have nothing to do with Shaq producing 13 points per game in the NBA finals. Not to mention shooting 29% from the line. Why didn't he play better against this soft team
