This is why I am not a fan of LeBrons game, it cripples his teammates when teams refuse to double.

this is the fatal flaw in lebron's game. he can't play without spacing. he needs the paint clear, so his teams never have any good post players other than for him. and if they do have guys who can post (i.e. Chris Bosh and Kevin Love), they're told to move out to the 3-point line. Bron also can't play with another ball dominant guard. its why him and wade strugggled early on until wade ceded all control to bron. and its why kyrie has been forced to become a catch n shoot player.

LeBron can only play if he's surrounded by shooters who can defend. Once teams don't start doubling, his teams are forced to play straight isolation through him. and since he's only surrounded by shooters, none of them can get their own shot.

all in all, its not a formula to winning rings. the weak nature of the eastern conference for ALL of LeBron's career has hid this black mark.

Lebron's standard every season is to win a championship, no matter who's on his team and no matter who he's facing. That's a testament to his greatness. Who else has that standard right now?
