I can't say I listen to a lot of ESPN anymore, but I've never heard any sports talk that wasn't spouting opinions. Cowherd is in the same category as Skip Bayless to me - their opinions are just meant to target a particular market and start controversy, are uninformed as fukk, don't tell me anything about sports, and are often offensive.

Agreed. He was also one of the main national people off of the geno smith bandwagon and talking about Ciara a few weeks ago, he sounded like he wanted to bust a nut on air, lol. I'm kind of surprised at the considerable amount of stanning for Cowherd. I came from the Era of Mike and the Mad Dog and those two were out of control but the discourse was always very entertaining and they stood by their strong opinions. Cowherd to me was a casual racist and and only used the term liberal to make it seem like he was this enlightened guy who was always the smartest guy in the room when in reality all he really did was say the most generic sports opinions and then pass it off as grey poupon. Oh how creative, you are a fan of the Lakers or USC or Alabama or whatever team it's cool to dikkride at the moment. Oh I think Tom Brady is a great QB but I don't like RG3 or Cam Newton, they wear their hats backwards. He basically said on air that Black players are culturally inclined to beat women. In fairness he does move the needle since it seems we have a thread on this guy every week. But I think his rant on Dominicans was racist (he was right about the educational system though it's bad). But I think with Colin pissing off the MLB, it was kinda the last straw for ESPN.

DR is a 3rd world country and yea, our education could be a lot better. too many people in my homeland that are illiterate and dont care about school. that said, we have a ton of dominican scholars who did have their educational opportunities and made the most of em. shyt the goddamn dean of the columbia university school of engineering is dominican born. graduated with a degree in engineering in DR and came here not knowing a lick of english and went on to get a degree here. now he's the dean of the columbia school of engineering and applied sciences and the commissioner of the NYC department of design and construction.
