Let's be honest, not judgy. There's nothing wrong with Shannon being a single man, doing what he was doing.
There's plenty of white men his same age who are not famous, who are doing the same thing. And many of them are married.
Shannon just got caught up bc of his name, and they knew they could trap him and he'd have to fold or look way worse to thr public. Chances are he did not actually assault this girl based on the outcome of the settlement
Breh. There was A LOT wrong with what Shannon did lol. I’m not making a moral judgment on it, but the way he was moving was reckless as hell and pretty stupid, particularly when you consider he’s in his 50s with a lot to lose dealing with a teenager with nothing to lose and everything to gain. If Shannon worked at Burger King this would be a dumb way to move but at least nobody would care.
Shannon was just dumb for putting himself into this position, especially having the texts that he had and the recordings.
As far as the bolded, Shannon isn’t white and he is famous, so that part is irrelevant. He’s playing by a different rulebook and he knows it. And if an old white guy in a similar position got played like this, we’d say he’s just as dumb.
