Nah I think he learned his lesson
he should have learned it here tbh

Just when you thought the news at Dove Valley couldn’t get any worse, it does, this time in the form of a serious allegation against former Denver Broncos great Shannon Sharpe. Officially Sharpe is taking a leave of absence from his job as a football analyst at CBS amid the allegations that he threatened a woman and forced her to have sex with him.
Last week in an Atlanta court Sharpe’s accuser, Michele Bundy, submitted a petition which states that she was forced to have sex with him. Additionally it states that he has repeatedly called and threatened her life and that he has essentially been stalking her. This has resulted in a restraining order against Shannon Sharpe, though a hearing is set for September 20th for Bundy and her attorney to show just cause for the order to stay in place.
For the time being CBS Sports is not commenting on the situation though they have accepted Sharpe’s decision to depart NFL Today indefinitely. No replacement for Sharpe has been mentioned at this time.

I'm assuming he settled because he thought the ESPN money was gonna still be there. Shannon had to learn the hard way ESPN will drop you if you give them any negative publicity
To espn's credit, they gave him a couple of passes. The sex tape thing, the initial allegations etc

But nobody should have expected them to overlook this.

I dunno

Athletes are some of the dumbest people in America unfortunately
In most cases, it's just that they've been doing stuff for so long, and because they were elite athletes, it got covered up. This starts in middle school & high school. I'm sure you saw it in college just like I did.

They basically begin thinking they're invincible.

I'll never forget I had took a sports law class in college as an elective course.

I had took business law and that was the hardest earned B in my life. Was thinking about going into sports management so took a sports law course.

I'm in there with all basketball and football players and they were so dumb.

I literally saw dude in the library day of his presentation just printing an article straight from SI on concussions. He did the presentation and he couldn't even complete his sentences without saying "uhm" "and so" "and then". Pretty much read from the paper. Professor was like amazing job and he got a B.

I just laughed cuz it was a joke. Athletes get to skate by all throughout their lives and will get Bs so they can stay eligible
Sounds like somebody mad they got a B- and not a B :troll:

This is a bad look for them. After this who is gonna wanna come work there when all it takes is a few allegations here and a few sex scandals there and they’ll drop you :snoop:
