no pms necessary. you had a list of mistakes the chiefs qb did, I kinda assumed youd have a similar list for mistakes our qb did

I just want evaluations to be unbiased breh

Jlova is just a piece of Canadian trash. That's the difference between me and him.

He likes to call me an Alex stan, but he's really just obsessed with hating the guy. Look at how much he was talking about him this year, much more than any other 49ers fan was. ,

Also, he's the king of the double standard. Alex was complete garbage to him for putting up some numbers. Kaep put up the same ones and he never said a word about him.

See I loved Kaep's performance yesterday because it was so on par with the type of performances we'd get from Smith during the 2011 season. And it was better cause of the added running

You like risk averse QBs. I like QBs who can take over games and are good in high pressure situations.
true, but Im not going to try to divert the blame for mistakes made because mistakes made, not plays made, define the qb, at least to me. Im judging all the qbs the same. if someone like cutler or palmer go vertical and dont make picks or questionable throws and tear apart defenses and their d blows it, theres no problem for me to admit they had a great game.

I'd be going ballistic if we lost like the Chiefs did. But believe me I would not say Kaep was flawless. You'd be shytting on him for the fumble, inaccurate throws and the like. I'm not going to argue hypotheticals so lets drop it.
yes, I would be shytting on him (just like Id shyt on any player for making a mistake, whether its montana or osullivan), but Id also acknowledge the 4td passes if we're reversing the situation

yes, we differ in that I think playing mistake-free football with few to none 'big plays' is far superior to erratic mistake/big play potpourri

whats different is that I clearly will judge a qb by their performance according to my standards, you seem to judge the qb by your opinion of him and make adjustments, and subtly shift blame if you like the qb and subtly place the blame on the qb if you dont like the qb

Just cause we root for the same team doesn't mean we got to like eachother.

That dude is a desperate Canadian loser who spends his life jacking off of JBO.

I got a lot more respect for our arch enemy's biggest fan @Misfit

Kaep made a great play in clutch time at the end of the game yesterday. It honestly couldn't have come at a better time when we all know if that was Alex Smith in that position shyt woulda been done right then adn there. I am a Smith fan as well, but they are two distinctly different players and I'd honestly trust Kaep to pull it through more in the end as compared to Alex.

I think Kaep was pretty accurate all game considering the circumstances. I really don't get the criticism in here.

And I wouldn't say the 49ers are the hottest right now. Stay humble :wow:

passing game was shyt, man.
it was compounded by dumb playcalling (long pass attempt that resulted in sack taking us out of FG range, punt on their 34 for a net result of 14 yard, etc), but it was wack overall. sure, the weather sucked, but then why are we passing so much in shyt weather ?

kaep made clutch plays with his legs and one pass to crabtree was very good where he stepped up the pocket.
problem is panthers contain much better and those plays do not happen against them.

of course, I dont believe in 'clutch' unless we comparing two qbs with one of them having it and the other completely not having it or something like that.

And maybe you pass, because the run game might not be that poppin? Did you see the stats my dude?

I get what your saying but what does South Carolina (a complete outside variable here) have to do with you arguing that Alex >>> Kaep overall. :pachaha:

Fact of the matter is, when it came down to it. Kaep got the job done for his team in some pretty brutal conditions against a very good team in their home stadium. Smith didn't and had a wayyyy easier job and still failed.

hes bipolar as fukk and I wont miss him if hes gone
but at the end of the day, he cannot be the ultimate scapegoat.

this is my problem with jlova in a nutshell:
pats win with d, kicker and brady driving them down in 'clutch' for fg => jlova says "why is brady getting credit, it should be kicker and d"
a team with qb he likes wins with d, kicker and qb drives them down in 'clutch' for fg => jlova says "qb is clutch", doesnt mention kicker or d

he cool dude, I have zero real problems with him, but this just rubs me the wrong way. cant be selective in this shyt.

Ive never, EVER argued that. ever. you made conclusions based on nothing. I strongly stood by decision to go with kaep and shytted on alex last year even tho he had a good statistical year. kaep is >>>>> alex.

but alex had a better game than kaep did, passing the ball. I have zero reasons to deny it. but this isnt even a comparison, at the end of the day alex is gone and I dont really care about him. I only root for 49ers and 49er players.

this is more of my issue with double standards. when someone has a iffy game, Ill call them out. I wont give them passes based on anything else than their performance in that particular game. I wont give frank gore a pass on a botched play even though hes one of my fav 49ers ever, and if he has a shytty day, I'll call it out :manny:

He may have had a better game, but he still didn't come through when the pressure is on. You're basing your whole judgment of better game off two games that had very different conditions outside of one factor: high pressure situations.

I honestly can't get on Kaep for not having a great pass game when (a) he played in some shytty ass conditions (b) he's played some wayyyyyy harder defenses than Alex has seen all year.

Kaep ain't great, but he's a good hybrid, and you don't need to be great to win SBs. Flacco showed us that last year. Not every quarterback needs to be great/elite or whatever.
