Complete product of the Twitter era, same era that ultimately got Mark and Jeff fired. I don't dislike her but she was not good as a commentator, dry and boring but twitter nerds loved her.
the pander bears were acting like she was providing ground breaking analysis to elevate her over JVG/Jackson and I know they weren't even listening to her 20 years ago calling college basketball & WNBA games when she was much better and not caught up in her own twitter hype.

OK, and? The NBA doesn't have to grant the exclusive Finals rights to ABC/ESPN.

Adam Silver is too friendly with Disney, though. So I guess that's why.
If that's what's they negotiated when they extended with them, yes.

What NBC and Amazon bid on are what TNT left behind and what ESPN decided to not air as much.

Pretty sure that might change at the end of the agreement for a variety of reasons (we'll know how NBC does or even Amazon for that matter, Breen will be 75 by the time the deal is up-- conspiracy theorist in me says if and when NBC gets the Finals, it'll be Noah Eagle's job for life and honestly a new TV agreement will be another commissioner and 2 college bargaining agreements later).

I still can't believe that the NBA didn't grant NBC the rights to the Finals as part of the new deal (or have NBC and ABC/ESPN alternate coverage).

The Finals weren’t up for discussion. Disney paid for that.

NO THEY DIDNT.

ESPN PAID 2.6 BILLION
FOR THEIR DEAL
AND NBC PAID 2.5 BILLION
FOR THEIR DEAL ONLY TO
SHARE THE CONFERENCE FINALS WITH AMAZON.

SILVER fakkit ASS WAS WORKING
WITH DISNEY ON SOME INSIDE MAN shyt.

ESPN DIDNT RENEW DURING
THE EXCLUSIVE NEGOTIATION PERIOD
THE SAME WARNER DIDNT RENEW.

THE FINALS SHOULD HAVE
BEEN UP FOR GRABS
