Like I said, the Finals were never up for discussion. The Finals didn't go to the highest bidder. The NBA negotiated exclusively with ESPN/ABC for the Finals (and at the end of the day, the NBA doesn't have an issue with them having the Finals and I don't think that's gonna change til the end of the deal)

FTR, ESPN paid $2.6B and they're getting less games. If ABC didn't have the Finals, they'd probably be out altogether themselves.

Several people here already asked for this after they worked together a few times last season, they had way better rapport and chemistry than the regular team. Good to see them actually following through.

Completely agree about demoting Jefferson as well, I don’t know why a three person booth is needed. JVG and Mark Jackson worked because they were close bros and Breen also knew them from the Knicks. Breen, Legler, and RJ aren’t close like that.

I don’t agree with that, ESPN now is primarily sports content company now with the DTC service in the ever changing media landscape. The NBA is one of the premier sports content outside NFL, World Cup, and Olympics. I can’t see Disney losing the NBA unless someone with Netflix or Apple gives the NBA a holy grail offer for almost all the national content.

I didn't hate Doris like most brehs on here. She reminded me of a female Hubie Brown I can't defend the stanning she did this past postseason though. I would've been fine if they replaced RJ instead of her. Props to Legs. Well deserved promotion.
