Nah. It's because Roger don't play that shyt. He got Bill Simmons fired and gave ESPN a poo poo platter of games for three or four years as punishment. They know better than to say something slick about ANY NFL city.

Think about how they be hyping up Buffalo on their NFL coverage. I've been to Buffalo and Phoenix. Phoenix is wayyyyyyyyyy more fun than Buffalo, and I bet Milwaukee is too, but all we hear about Buffalo is how passionate the fans are and food porn shots of buffalo wings.
Bill got suspended. He didnt get fired. His contract was up

I don't love it either, but something's got to give if you perpetually have teams that have a negative shot of winning shyt it further exacerbates the futility of interest in the regular season. MLB has the same issue. I'm not talking Portland or Memphis, but definitely Orlando, New Orleans off top could go. My point is if only 5 teams can actually win it in any given season where people are actually healthy 30 teams is far too many.

Just my take. I know once Bron's done Idc to watch the NBA, and once Brady's done Idc for the NFL really so it doesn't matter to me either way. I'm an efficiency guy so I'll always favor cutting the fat
Your take is terrible.. shut the fukk up man :mjlol:

Seriously, shut the fukk up

I hate ESPN/NBA with a passion….Other than the commentary team, There’s nothing good about ESPN/NBA and I wish that Silver would take the NBA off they’re network because it’s a bad look to clown 2 cities that could possibly be in the NBA finals on the very network that shows those games.

That segment was 2021 sports journalism/coverage in a nutshell. Molly wanna be taken seriously at her job but says dumb shyt like this…

That’s apart of your job…you’re going outhere to work, not go on vacation and post on your IG on a beach surrounded by build a thots with martinis. You can do that on you’re free time. I don’t know what Jalen sees in her…bytch is annoying and shallow.
:camby:
Adam Silver gotta make the call. This is unacceptable for the league’s TV partner for the Finals to be pushing this type of content.

If someone has a contract to work at a company, and is expecting to continuing working at said company, and the company unexpectedly tells them, "No thanks. We're not extending your contract." that means they were fired.

Beyond the definition I just gave both Bill Simmons AND ESPN said he was fired. Both of them use that actual term to explain the termination of their relationship. They literally gave him an imprint to run (Grantland) along with 30 for 30 being his brain child. If he didn't come across Goodell's head then he would still be at ESPN running both of those platforms.

I fully understand their complaints. Especially considering some cities are just better at handling big events and celebrities. When I used to travel for work there were certain places I loved to travel even though I wouldn't have all that much time to enjoy. But with all that said it's unprofessional as hell to go on TV shytting on those cities like that and calling them horrible cities and it's a bad look for the NBA in general.

its funny because the TNT crew could take on this same subject and do it in a light hearted, funny manner without making it sound so pretentious

ESPN's coverage is just terrible
Exactly, ESPN seriously tries to go in on smaller markets with malicious intent on some stuck up-we're too good for these places type shyt. Its bad for the league and game

By every measure, he didnt get fired. If you im angree agent and you dont offer a contract, you didnt fire me. Period. And it worked out even better for himnwith The Ringer.

He got suspended more because he challenged Skipper's authority saying "i darw ypu" than calling Goodell a liar. They talked abput this on pod together
