That's exactly what I was referring to when I kept saying that the NBA wants to be talked about year around like the NFL so bad that they will allow any discussion about their product to ensue in the media whether it's positive or negative.

Dudes wanted to call Ben Simmons Hollywood, well that's essentially how the NBA operates. Manufactured storylines and other discussions that take from the product that they have on the floor.

I really can't believe this thread did this many pages considering most Coli brehs claim they don't watch First Take or Undisputed In what world is the NFL talked about year-round besides die-hard NFL fans? The NBA off-season fukkery is even more interesting than the regular season. How does the NBA manufacture storylines? Did they put the battery in Pippen's back to come out and say the dumb shyt he's said this week? The personal, individualized nature of the NBA and its stars makes that notion laughable. There's no need to manufacture anything when these players love to talk shyt. And if it were up to me I'd pick covering the Finals in L.A and ATL every day out the week. Who the hell ever wakes up one day and says "I want to go to Milwaukee?" The Super Bowl is ONE game so the time spent there is limited for the most part. Not to mention the Super Bowl in Jacksonville was universally shytted on by everybody.
