Well, when you place all your focus too much on the "E" in your name and not the "S" that the network was built on, you get this...

Seriously, I think people are just overloaded with their mess. I stopped "watching" ESPiN a long time ago. Outside of live sporting events, they don't get many, if any at all, views from me. I realized these talking heads pander, and are usually HUGE homers, I stopped listening. Outside of a few numbers they give you, it's pointless listening to it. They recycle the same stories all day, spit out pointless facts, and suck off the same athletes all the time. Like an example of all three...

"Lebron's numbers in last nights game were so doggone high, I thought he was gonna knock drake down from the top of the needle on the Views album cover...he's been "blazin son", lemme get my "stunna shades" out....his steal numbers against opponents in blue jerseys, with white trim, through this point in the season is the second highest only behind Harry "Gifted Hands" Thompson who was a star for the Dayton Druids before the ABA/NBA merger. Now put some respect on his name!"

Only watch during the fall sports, when it's mostly games. Most of the rest of the time is advertising or pitching you something thru commercial or thru their employees...

The Yay
People are awake to the fact that ESPN lacks true credible sports journalism. Watching an episode of Sportscenter is like watching Entertainment Tonight with forced pop culture quotables and coverage of the same few sports figures.

There are so many other outlets now if you want real journalism and not just talking heads pandering for ratings. (FSN, NFL Network, podcasts, etc.)

30 for 30 is the best thing ESPN has going for itself these days.
Man, real journalism is barely alive. It's not in any demand. Not to sound like an old man yelling at the cloud but nowadays being first to tweet something is valued. Real journalism requires talent, hard work, insight, etc. Why pay a talented journalist a lot for something that won't be rated high when you can hire a couple of personalities that will tweet shyt and troll in order to manufacture opinions?

Shiit even that fat clown whitlock was forced to lean back with his self-hating agenda articles. Even racist white people aren't interested in his shyt anymore

everybody has realized all those talking heads don't know shyt and are pointless to watch.
Yea, you can literally just go on youtube to whoever's channel or podcast and find all the analysis, videos opinions and entertainment you want, without paying a dime or waiting for them to get to the segment you want to hear. it is what it is

My Pops Forever RIP
They need to realize people don't want bullshyt cable and start offering their service for $9.99 a month like Netflix.
Man fukk all that.

As someone who deals with a lot of viewing options, I can never fully embrace streaming. I stream things out of necessity not because it's the best option. I can barely tolerate my dish when it rains. Anything that presents the likelihood of lagging is not something I prefer.

Besides Cablevision rules with an iron fist and I got family that works there :yeshrug:
