Exactly ...if the journalist turn into trolls and lose professionalism, why watch them ...I can get that at the barbershop or here:francis:

They are predictable in there journalism...espns glory years were predicated on the personalities commenting the highlights...now they have bland personalities stretched across damn near five channels....soon they'll be back to espn1&2....

ESPN is terrible with this. they can't even criticize the NFL or Goodell so now they lose integrity because of media bias. i wouldn't mind all of the talking points and shows if they had unbiased opinions on there but firing bill simmons for his comments on the nfl was basically them putting it out there that they're throwing honest journalism out. espn is equivalent to those posts you see on facebook with the title "you wouldn't believe what happens next." disgusting click bait status.

Honestly, the only reason ESPN even has subscribers now is because super NBA/NFL/MLB/NCAA fans (like me) have doubts about cutting it. If you're a fan of any other team sports or individual sports you can pretty much live without ESPN.

We have a winner here. When they low balled him and his people who actually creat interesting content because they had that cash reserves for Colin cowherd and :skip: should have been the moment everyone who hadn't thrown them in the bushes by then should have done it. These hacks made it crystal clear to everyone by then that they were prioritizing sensationalism and attention whoring over actual journalism.

fukking co sign... ever since Michelle beetle, Sarah Spain and that girl that look like a little boy went at Stephen A and complaining about how people view them I had enough...

Then Stephen A punk ass backs down to all the women on there and if one black athlete fukks up he wants to blame all black athletes... then a few years back Stephen A calling out marshawn lynch on why he can do progressive commercials or go on Jimmy Kimmel, but can't do interviews with reporters and what marshawn is doing will affect every black kid who's watching him:martin:

Wiley and kellerman only 2 personalities to watch

It comes down to a simple reason.

Y'all are battered housewives in a marriage you don't wanna leave. Every time y'all claim y'all are done y'all think back to when ESPN treated you good. Woke you up for work, made you laugh, played that song you love, and then fukked you back to sleep. You want that feeling again and even if another outlet gave you everything you asked for, it wouldn't feel the same. Y'all are in it to win it, and ESPN knows it.

Lets be real, with Kodi + Kodi ready 4k boxes + Chromecast, i have no reason to have cable TV.

Its too much money :dame:
There are still some sports channels in which you have to have cable to get (NBA TV and NFL Network).
Well, Verizon Fios is offering TV packages without ESPN or any sports channels now. :ld:
Too bad I only have Comcast in my area smh. And I'm not facing the right way to get satellite.

Exactly...their problem is that they failed to leverage their power as a media giant correctly against the NFL/leagues or corporate organizations period...and instead they crawled under each of their programs/organizations(on some "thanks for lettin us cover y'all :mjcry:...y'all can come commentate here when u done too...fukk college graduated journalists...what do they know anyway:manny:). Had they kept their integrity and leveraged the weight of their thought and opinion as an organization correctly they could have actually helped to keep leagues honest and most likely negotiated a better tv deal with each of them. But once they showed leagues they could easily be put in the pocket....respect for them(ESPN)went out the window and they've become essentially fabricated daytime television... They could have mattered like Sports Illustrated once mattered...but journalistic integrity is required

When was ESPN ever a "serious" network? It was always based on "entertainment". "Sports Reporters" on Sundays was the only "serious" program. Then "OTL".

Nah, Ballstreams is dead.

I used Kodi Pro-sports plugin this year, Room HD kept me fed all season. I may get international league pass next year though.

I'd highly recommend international league pass. It's much better than domestic to the point where people who work for the NBA (including Silver and Marv Albert) use ILP. There's no national tv blackouts and no commercials on re airs. For whatever reason it's also cheaper than domestic league pass. I actually have ILP and I have league pass through Comcast (which sucks because it's not HD) but I have it because the lag for league pass streaming can be annoying if you're betting live or betting halftimes.

my biggest issue w/ nba league pass streaming is the delay from real time :wow:
