Akron Public Schools are footing 80 percent of the bill for I Promise and Akron University is guaranteeing the scholarships; Lebron isn’t paying for them.

Well then why aren’t more big money athletes trying to get the same kinda arrangement with the school districts and colleges in their hometowns? Especially since they’re not having to foot the whole bill.

Instead of trying to minimize what Lebron is doing you should be looking crazy at all the others who aren’t doing a thing.

Why compare the 2?
Different times and circumstances. You will be able to see the impact from what LeBron has done in the years to come. Ali, Bill Russell, etc have obviously influenced those that came after him.
You can't please everyone. For anyone that even criticizes LeBron asked yourself what have you ever done in your life that was even close to what he has been willing to do?
If the answer is nothing then say nothing.
