Hey, nobody and I mean nobody on this board has shytted on Houston since the very start of the Harden era more than I have. That bearded fakkit will get better and if dwight stays healthy and all their other role players can contribute.... They can take SA. All those western teams that have youth and hunger on their side will be too much for the Spurs.

You don't beat San Antonio on paper. You beat San Antonio by either luck or talent, and Houston can pull it off especially with their 3 point shot oriented offense.

On paper, San Antonio beats everyone, but when you go out there you either win or lose.

people always laugh at this but I dont see whats so funny

Houston 4-0'd spurs in the regular season. Now you can use the "regular season dont count" excuse but thats still a feat. Thunder did the same against the spurs, but unfortunately had a injury in the playoffs.

young, fast, jump shooting teams (and harden) do well against the spurs except the blazers.

people probably thought it was funny to think Dallas would get close to beating spurs last year, I believe it would of happen if blair didnt get suspended and mavs didnt choke game 1. they beat themselves smh

Oh so we pulling the nostalgia card now. We bout to be on some "bringing the guys back" type shyt :dahell:

Chandler ain't making teams top 6 nowadays. Golden State, Portland and Houston are all better.
Chandler was one of the main parts of the 2011 championship squad, Rick Carlisle knows how to use him.

What I'm saying that a lot of matchups that look like they are in the Spurs favor sometimes aren't. Usually when San Antonio gets beaten, it's not because the other team outplayed them, it's because they had either extraordinary luck or talent and somehow pulled it out.

2011, Memphis beat the Spurs in an inspirational upset that reignited that franchise.
2012, OKC won 4 straight after losing 2 thanks to a couple of hot hands, unlikely contributions from key role players (and pure luck)
2013, Game 6 is all I have to say.

Spurs is over, last season was the final hurrah for them believe that. They can't expect to win trotting out gino, parker and 38-9 year old Duncan major minutes. Better hope injuries happen in the west. Diaw fat ass is about to give them bare min after that contract

the thunder haven't made any significant improvements since last year. all the other top teams outside of the spurs have.
When will you guys learn that the Thunder NEVER do big things in FA?

Yet they still a top 2/3 team in the league the past 3 years. What does that say for the rest of the league?

Also had the 2nd best record in the league the past 2 years(60 and 59).

Funny that the Bulls apparently just had a great offseason and still aren't better than the top 3 in the West and Cleveland.

IDK why these guys think OKC is getting shytted on. They still have to rely heavily on KD/Sabo. Still got sloth at the 5. Brooks is still the coach.
It's funny we still shyt on the league every year and finish in the top 4(except for when Russ got injured in 2013).

It's honestly embarrassing for the league that the Thunder consistently win and end up one of the last 4 teams standing with fukking Perkins in the Starting lineup. It's actually insane, the Thunder are 7.9 Points Per Possession worse with Perkins on the floor and they still rape teams.

Wouldn't be surprised if Perkins is the WOAT starter for a team that consistently wins 55+ wins year in year out.
