So is he going back to MSNBC?

He hates everyone at MSNBC and vice versa. Dude has literally burned every possible bridge he could cross for a new job.

Worked at ESPN and left on bad terms to go to MSNBC.
Left MSNBC on slightly bad terms to go to Fox.
Left Fox on VERY bad terms to go back to MSNBC (basically got fired).
Left MSNBC on EXTREMELY bad terms to go to Al Gore's Network, Current TV.
Left Current TV on EXTREMELY bad terms (so bad he got fired and sued)
After looking for work in cable news for a couple years, realized he was virtually blackballed from the industry, and pretty much begged ESPN to take him back (and they only agreed to after he promised not to talk about current events on his show, and film in the NYC studios away from the main studios in Connecticut, seeing that everyone there hated him.

Dude is done unless he takes a job at Huffington Post or Buzzfeed or some shyt like that. And that'll be for WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY less money.

Quit fukking with Olbermann when that Ray Rice story broke and even before the tape it was his lead in talk every...fukking...night...

Then Tony Stewart ran over and killed a man and he said some shyt along the lines of "due to the fact that we don't know all the details and there is an investigation we won't be talking about this story until we have all the facts"

I watched his show for about a month after that...when it was still coming on late nights...he never talked about it again at all period except for a 2 min "what is nascar going to do about this" bit...

There's actually one more, he anchored the pre and postgames for TBS's MLB playoffs baseball coverage a few seasons ago and he wasn't brought back. :heh: This guy's bounced around everywhere.

Olbermann's show on ESPN was mindblowingly terrible so I don't blame ESPN for this.

But let's not forget how Keith Olberman held down the number 1 liberal TV time slot during the best time to be a left wing hippy - during the fall of Bush and the rise of Obama.

His prime msnbc years should be respected. But it will never be the same for him or guys like Bill Maher, unless a really shytty republican is elected to president again so those guys can gracefully entertain us by shytting on the right wing to their full potential.

He fukked up because he didn't toe the company line: don't bad mouth the NFL and definitely don't hold ESPN accountable for shytty reporting. Olbermann is a sanctimonious prick, but he brought legit journalism credentials to a channel that has a show with a segment where its anchors make memes out of the day's storylines. Outside of 30 for 30, ESPN's original programing is laughably bad. That's including Outside the Lines which tries to be their mature show. they'll replace Olbermann with some random dude with some random gimmick who'll have the same talking points as everyone else:manny:

Yeah I don't know what the fukk happened to OTL. It used to be a legit good show but Bob Levy has just become a pandering witch hunter now. Dude used to be a real solid reporter...
