Look fukkboys, The Washington Wizards are the top seed right now til further notice

So we haven't beaten yall 17 outta 20 times  you our sons til further notice
Wiz have owned the Heat 3 out of the last 4 years. Guess that makes us co-champions according to your logic :win:
nikka shut your hating ass up. Melo has brought worse teams to the playoffs than us.

Calderon/Larkin
Shumpert/Smith/Hardaway Jr
Melo/Early
Bargiani/STAT
Dalembert/Aldrich

This is easily a playoff team in the weak ass East.
:laff:
Why the hell people still got Miami as a top 4 team?

Wade is DEAD. Bosh ain't so much better than LMA that he can carry a similar team with no Lillard type backup.
shyt makes no sense :yeshrug:

awful.

lol at them not listing knicks or pacers
Doggy, you do know that the Pacers lost their 2 best players from last year, right?
  • Lance is now a Hornet
  • Paul George is out for the year (at least)

As for the Knicks...
I don't see them having an impact but who knows? Maybe they do get Rondo in a trade since the Celtics are in tank mode. They lost Chandler and Felton. Got Melo, Bargain and Amare and Smith. Okay what else? Young talents like Shump and Hardaway. What else have they done to say they will be THAT much better than last year? I know they can't be as bad as last year but whatever improvement happens won't improve them that much IMO

When you think of the Knicks chances, don't just look at how you have improved. Consider how the whole conference has improved

Knicks might end up being the worst defensive team in the entire league next year. That frontcourt is full of net negatives and guys who exist to let you down when it matters.

Camby was the only person on that team that made people feel guilty for not playing defense. Shumpert probably on some fukk everybody shyt ever since people been talking about trading him for no good reason for the last year and a half... its gonna get ugly - even if they do 'bounce back' offensively. If you can't defend OR rebound, you're not going to win games without being fuego from the jump.

:dwillhuh:

Camby didn't even play for a quarter of a season two years ago. Triangle might allow for us to catch fire easier this season assuming the team can catch on quick. It's really dependent on Melo adapting. He can really eat off the system without having to force anything.

Chandler being around was the only reason Knicks ever played defense.

And Melo 'forced' everything because the rest of the team was dumb as hell, offensively inept, or just plain bad - and outside of Hardaway, none of them are going to get better. I don't even have faith in Calderon being average at this point in his career either.

Melo is one of the best scorers in the league. He's gonna get his regardless. That really don't matter though when the rest of the team MIGHT be as good as Philly.

Calderon just needs to be able to hit the open three in the triangle. Statistically he's the best on the team at doing that. The team would've been served by having some sort of offensive structure outside of "give the ball to Melo...let Melo do work." It's no coincidence that when Woodson tried to force big ball on this team it stunk, but looked much improved after they switched to small ball. Felton was just plain bad...Shumpert never got the ball when he was open...JR did what he wanted and THJR only got looks cause he chucked (and could hit when he did). Structure will fix the problems imo. And if not, then we know who to get rid of in the offseason.

Melo is one of the best scorers in the league. He's gonna get his regardless. That really don't matter though when the rest of the team MIGHT be as good as Philly.
Idk breh...Calderon, THJR/Shumpert, JR, STAT and Dalembert/Jason Smith vs Michael Carter-Williams, Tony Wroten, K.J. McDaniels, Thaddeus Young, Nerlens Noel. I don't think "MIGHT be as good" is fair. If you wanna say "arguably better" I won't fight you

What happened to Nick Novak?

Two years ago, your squad under phil jackson would have be CRUCIAL

But this squad, even with Phil wouldn't get it done :manny:
You mean Steve Novak?

The team played extremely well to end the season without making any roster changes under the small ball lineup. The major offensive pieces from two seasons ago are still on the team with some youth and efficient scoring in addition. Knicks were only a game out of the 8th seed last season...we're not talking about a team that were never gonna make the offs. Yes...I think competent coaching and an actual system will do wonders for a team that didn't have a direction for three quarters of the season last year

If you read my previous comments you will see that i said they will not be as bad as they were last year because i do believe last year was a fluke. But they won't be that much better. But even THEN i think their record might be the same or worse BECAUSE, like i said before, you have to account for the rest of the teams in the conference getting better.
  • Cleveland will be vastly has improved.
  • Chicago will be vastly improved
  • Atlanta, who was #3 in the standings last year until Horford went down has improved by getting him back even tho they still made the playoffs without him last year.
  • Wizards were no fluke so i expect them to be right where they were last year if not better
  • Miami will slip a bit but expect them to still be a contenders for a top 5 seed in the East
  • Bobcats/Hornets may slip a bit too but will still battle for the 8th or 7th seed
The Knicks not only stood pat but lost their only defensive presence (Chandler even tho he sucked last year). I would expect the Pacers to still contend for a playoff spot considering what they lost.

And YES you can get better and your record be worse from one year to the next

no Paul George or Lance Stephenson....maybe no Hibbert? :usure:
I sai contend for a spot. Doesn't mean they'll get it. Think the Nets will be up there too by the way if Lopez comes back strong
