You mean Steve Novak?

The team played extremely well to end the season without making any roster changes under the small ball lineup. The major offensive pieces from two seasons ago are still on the team with some youth and efficient scoring in addition. Knicks were only a game out of the 8th seed last season...we're not talking about a team that were never gonna make the offs. Yes...I think competent coaching and an actual system will do wonders for a team that didn't have a direction for three quarters of the season last year
Bruh, I see your half full mentality, but I see it half empty and here's why. And I doubt you can say otherwise :leostare:
Yes, your team was a game out of the last playoff spot.
The PROBLEM is your team wasn't tanking :mjlol:
And it STILL missed in what was arguably the worst year in Eastern Conference Basketball history.
Now teams are actually wanting to win games, and the knicks have lost pieces.
The additions you speak of are not really additions.
James Harden would call them "role players"

Who wants to squeak in the playoffs just to get demolished by the 1 seed anyway :heh:

Coli going to be real mad when the Knicks are giving their favorite teams that work. I can't wait :banderas:
Again, I'm still waiting to hear what Knicks fans are basing this on

This is exactly what i'm saying yo. These cats are saying this say and keeping up HOPE but they have no roster moves that reflect this.
I'm a Heat fan and I'm not delusional. I said the Heat will probably win about 46 games. 50, tops if all things go RIGHT. The Heat have gotten deeper and to me still look better than the knicks. How these clones have so much confidence is beyond me.

The hole conference has gotten better while they stood pat and shed salary. I guess just the NY on the front of their jerseys will get other teams to bow down in their heads. Typical NYer mindset

You've had several examples throughout this whole thread and your still looking for more?!

1)The Knicks brought in a brand new president with a coaching staff.. It's not like George Karl or Larry brown or Stan van gundy came through that door.

It's Phil Jackson .... It's 11 championships Phil Jackson it's Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant Phil Jackson!! He's bringing in a proven system that's been used for 2 decades and has won multiple championships. The proof is in the pudding breh.

2)THe Knicks have arguably the 3rd best player in the nba. nikkas in here LOVE to talk shyt about Carmelo Anthony but one thing he's proven to be is consistent! He's Carried flabby and sick teams into the playoffs all his life and still gets hate. Has melo ever had a sidekick like bron had in wade and bosh or Durant has in sabo or Kobe had in shaq/gasol? Give him a top 10 player by his side.... Once and you will see.

3) WE GOT RID OF FELTON...dude lost us like 6 games with his fukking stupidity. Worst starter in the nba. . Dude couldn't run an offense and was a turnstile for opposing point guards. Calderon is not the best we could hope for but I'm pretty sure he's more of an offensive threat than Felton and can have the offense operating smoothly. THjr has showed that he can become a legit nba starter hopefully he can improve on defense. People talk about losing chandler like if chandler had a massive effect on us defensively. His first two years here he was great!

I swear to god this dude went ghost his third year... He would miss random games for "flu symptoms" had opposing teams just tear up the paint and dudes shorter than him grabbing rebounds. Chandler was the most frustrating because you know dude has the talent to dominate. Hopefully a change of scenery will do him better.

Now I know you pointed out that other teams in the conference are improving and I take note of that too. Cavs have improved greatly and I think most in here agree that them and the bulls look to be the top 2 seeds. Now to me the third seed is most likely Washington that backcourt is amazing and will have opposing teams scrambling. 4-8 seeds are def not a lock!! I think the raptors will not win the Atlantic division and now that I look at it even closely and listen to what a couple nets brehs have said in here. The nets will def do better than the raps( even though I hate the damn nets)

The heat will be fifth seed even though they lost lebron which is a huge part of what they do. I think bosh will welcome that load and with wades help along with a few pieces here and there they will make some noise.

The hornets are improving but we gonna make em a force after getting stomped out in the first round?! I mean they acquired lance. Stephenson which is a good spark plug but they lost mcroberts which agood rebounder and a nice inside presence .

craptors:camby:

Hawks:camby:Even though they did show some promise in that first round which surprised a lot of people. Plus horford the gawd will be back so that will keep em in playoff contention

You're a known Knicks hater and it's not even the team you hate on you hate on the city as a whole.:wtf:

Hawks but no Pistons :heh:

Nets but no Pistons :heh:

Stan Van Gawdy hasnt missed the playoffs

and we got Josh Smith

We in there :win:

How have the Pistons improved in the offseason?

Hawks didnt change sh!t but made the playoffs. Before Al Horford went down they were the #3 seed

Pistons were ...

Pistons issues were coaching and philosophy.. we've established this many a time already.

Let's also stop pretending they didnt address needs on the perimeter to a starting 5 full of talent.

SVG or not I refuse to support the Pistons and their continued failure results from a team of individuals who think they are talented but will never reach their full potential because they won't play effective team ball, nor will did they abandon a shoddy outside game for a post heavy game which could have dominated the division sans Indiana.

the last 6 seasons or so have turned me into a bonafide Pistons hater. :pacspit:

You're a known Knicks hater
THis is true. Never have and never will deny it

and it's not even the team you hate on you hate on the city as a whole
This is NOT true
A hardcore NEw Yorker and Giants fan suck my dikk every night and she's one of the most down chicks i've even known.
My problem isnt with NEw York. I like the place. Some of it reminds me of London which i love. It's not New Yorkers. I've dated MANY NEw Yorkers. Most down chicks you'll come across as a man. My problem has always been the New Yorker mentality of "i'm better than you because of where i'm from". It's that Superiority complex that I hate. And this is not something i hate solely about New-Yorkers. I hate that in all people. Americans, Canadians, Brazilians, and British. But i often find that New Yorkers are the biggest offenders (based on my experience) in that department. But that's another topic for another thread.

1)The Knicks brought in a brand new president with a coaching staff..
I'll give you that you are bringing in a winner in the FO in on the bench but here are two things you are missing: Both are going into an aspect of the organization that they have never performed before.
  • Phil always had Krause, Jerry West and Kupchak (sp) to work the FO for him
  • Your coach has never coached before
I understand the "new toy fresh out the box" attitude and reason for HOPE but they are still question marks if you ask me
2)THe Knicks have arguably the 3rd best player in the nba.
THe one thing i have never argued is Carmelo's ability to flourish in the Triangle. I think he's better suited for it than Kobe or Lebron because of his post game. But the problem is you still dont have the pieces around him. Can the Knicks make the playoffs? I wouldnt be surprised if they did. But with the current roster and looking around the East right now I dont see how you guys are gonna "give teams that work" as stated by some of your fellow Knicks fans in this thread.

P.S. Dont sleep on the Wizards, Nets or Hawks. BTW. I hate the Nets but i feel they may shock folks. Hawks are an all around solid team with that Spurs East approach they are taking. Wizards should be a top 3 or 4 seed.

Noone is superior to any other. If I had to i'd say What you know and accomplish in life is what makes you superior. Not your ethnicity or where you are from. Thats the dumb sh!t that's tearing this world apart. All you mofos crying about racism and privilege but endorse the same mindset when it is not applied to skin color but to turfs.

But you wanna cry about racism.

Nope, I could argue that besides the Browns the Lions have had the most inept front office in the history of American football.

I also will NEVER go to a Pistons game until they return to the city...which means i'll prolly never go to on again. :manny:
