Hell I'd nearly put Kobe's 2001 up there with Lebron and Duncan (obviously below Shaq).
22 years old putting up 30-7-6, killing it defensively and not even being in the all nba first team.

which has what to do with a playoff run?
It has to do with that he was not counted as a first team player but come playoffs showed them what the deal was.

What else could it mean.

Iversons run should be top 50 from that same playoff as well.

Hakeem at 30?:dahell: garbage list

30. Hakeem Olajuwon, Rockets, 1995

Position: C | Age: 32

Result: Won NBA Finals | Finals MVP

GP PPG RPG APG BPG SPG TS% USG
22 33.0 10.3 4.5 2.8 1.2 56.0 35.9

Olajuwon actually scored more in the Rockets' repeat despite the arrival of Clyde Drexler. The center topped 40 points five times, including three alone in his Western Conference finals destruction of MVP David Robinson. (Olajuwon: 35.3 ppg, 12.5 rpg, 5.0 apg, 4.2 bpg; Robinson: 23.8 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 2.7 apg, 2.2 bpg.) So why does 1995 rate so much lower? Olajuwon wasn't the same defensive presence, blocking shots about 20 percent less frequently than in 1994.

Bron at 2 is bullshyt bruh.

Webber in 2002 sh!ts on anything Bron has done and he lost
:dead:

:comeon: @ nikkas mentioning Iverson.

Dude shot 38%in the playoffs.

Kobe did that in the 2004 finals and he got crucified. Get the fukk outta here with that bullshyt.

Iverson's 2001 run was not top 50. Barkley, Garnett, Malone, Nash, Kobe etc. all had much better playoff runs that were not even listed.

Kobe's 2008 playoff run is underrated by the way. He performed better against the West than he did in 09 and 10. People just remember the finals.

Ok... Let me get this straight... Dirk beating LeBron for the championship wasn't impressive enough for a great playoff run. Even tho he beat OKC and the Lakers. Even tho everyone said Dirk didn't have a chance.

LeBron beats the same OKC team and it's #2 ?

You really think the 48 slot disparity is fair?

and I'm the remedial one?? :aicmon:

:what:

Like I said. I dont know (or care) why Dirk is at 50. But you keep talking about OKC are you stupid or what? It's PLAYOFF runs. You didnt even mention the Indiana or Boston series. The fact that LeBron delivered a game for the ages in game 6 @ Boston is a big reason why he's number 2 on the list.

so the 50 greatest playoff runs all happened since 1980 (except Elvin Hayes in 1978) :comeon:

list is trash, david robinson in 99???? seriously ? :mindblown: pau gasol :mindblown: Im sorry its a terrible list.

having said that a few things i took from the summaries:

hakeem in 94 literally carried a bunch of scrubs to a title. its hard to find many superstars that won a title with their 2nd best player being so trash (and none of you idiots bring up career 4ppg average robert horry)

wade is the only pther player besides shaq to live at the line but its obvious why it happened to shaq, it was the equivalent of an IBB to Bonds except Shaq might miss both ft and get nothing for it but wade ?? a fukkin reckless asss guard ? further proof that series was fixed as fukk.

another thing i have a problem with is the bron hate pre finals the year they lost to the mavs. he was trash in the finals to the extent i wouldnt be surprised if he got paid to throw it however did we forget how he demolished the so called league MVP in beating the bulls in five? wade was irrelevant that series. even his numbers vs the mavs, theyre good stats but top 50 playoff run ? foh Wade is mad overated to me

the problem with your post is that you are very ignorant of the NBA before 1980.

Its not your fault, the NBA sucks at telling its history.

Also Kobe's 2008 playoffs not being here is a joke.

32/6/5 60%TS through the WCF(30/5/6 58%TS overall). He only got stopped by a top 3 defense all time with 3 allstars
