WHAT???? In damn near every aspect of the game besides athleticism. I'm just putting Rose in there assuming ESPN has him in their top 10. He wouldn't be in MY top 10

You serious D will better than Russ in near every aspect

Russ is a better defender
Better durability
Better finisher
Better post game

Dwill only has better passing and decision making which Russ will get as he matures

You would seriously take Dwill over Russ as a franchise starter?

Bulls had the #1 defense that year and held down the fort without Rose like 15-20 games I think

Thunder not winning without Russ Playoffs was evidence

You brought up stats. Harder to be efficient when a team game plans against you. That's why I brought up Durant helping open up the court for Westbrook.

They still made the playoffs but lose in a close series to a more athletic 76ers team in scrappy games

Your hate runs deep. The fukking 76ers.... OKC without Westbrook beats them.

Rondo is the best Pure PG in the league. I'm pretty sure he lead all PG's in rebounds and assists. He had that double digit assist streak and lead all players in triple doubles. When he wants to score, he can....and that's with his lack of a jumpshot.

Also he's a solid defender and a far better leader than all other PG's. You can hear him talking through the TV basically the whole game. Only Chris Paul is debatable. But Rondo does so many little things on the court I don't think people realize it.

Plus Rondo lead his team further this year than any of these other PG's above him.

Russel Westbrook is not a pure PG. He's a top ten player though.

Rondo's never gonna get into the top 10 until he fixes his mid-range jumper.

Rondo lead his team further than any than DWill and CP3 because his team has more talent. Plus Celtics ran into the 8 seeded Sixers in the second round while CP3 had to deal with the vaunted Spurs.

I can't wait until the Kevin Love hate really heats up when his name comes up on the list. If he goes above Rose the Coli might have to shut down. :lolbron:

Yes. D Will post game is better. Russ only dunks more doesn't make him a better finisher. Durability :beli: ... and we can argue defender all day long and obviously D Will has defended well much longer.

Basically Russy is still a black hole with the basketball with turnovers and high volume Iverson-like shooting % with the best scorer in the league on his team. He's not great at making his teammates better at this point in his career and if you really think he is better then :snoop:

First off, Russ is the better defender right now.

Westbrook is a lot more efficient on offense than he was 2-3 years ago. He shot nearly 46 percent from the field last season. That's as good or much better than Deron over the last 3 seasons. Deron turns the ball over more than Russ too.

All respect to Rondo, but he had 3 of the best players in NBA history in his team. When you had Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce taking off most of the pressure, you better lead in assists. I don't want to hear any bullshyt about age because the Celtics are still balling, leading their division, and consistently make it to the eastern conference finals year after year. Put CP3 or DWill on the 2008-2012 Celtics and you get the same results if not better.
