stop it with this pure PG bullshyt, this is just mask to cover rondo's flaws..... and how exactly is rondo a far better leader than all other pgs? because you can hear him talking? has he led his team to a championship like parker? has he led his team to the best record in the league like rose? has he had to burden the workload on the regular like rose? has had more experience leading a team like nash? who is regularly out on the court bytching about shyt? who was one of the reasons why allen left the celtics?

face it, up it till not long ago, rondo was just along for the ride with the big three, all this exaggerating shyt is pathetic and far from reality. rondo didn't lead shyt. garnett was just a much of a factor in the past playoff series(s) as rondo was, arguably more of a factor.

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A PURE POINT GUARD.

:ohhh:

It's not about the talent a PG has on their team but how they lead them. Rondo made everyone around him better no matter how good they already are. His assist numbers are proof. Just imagine how many points Durant would average if he had Rondo as his PG....

The way I see it:

Rondo>Nash right now.
Rondo>Parker right now.
Rondo>Deron pretty easily as a PG (and as a player in every category besides scoring)
Rondo=CP3 at least

Derrick Rose is injured and Westbrook is not a PG, so I can't compare them. Both are better players than Rondo overall but not better at the point guard position.

:mindblown:so he just suppose to do it by his self.was wade elite when the heat won like 20 games?

WADE HAD A GODDAMN RING BEFORE THAT SEASON! He had won something, how the f**k is that hard to understand? Wade had already proved himself to be elite in the 2006 Finals

Stop using players that had won championships or at least been to the playoffs.

Kobe missed the playoffs once his entire career...Love is going into his 5th season and hasn't made it once...

That's not really fair though, Kobe has always had (except for maybe two years) an excellent supporting cast (not to mention a HOF coach) Jesus he played with one of the most dominant big men (in his prime)of all time.

Love has had the likes of,

Damien Wilkins, Ramon Sessions, Ryan Gomes, Brian Cardinal, Johhny Flynn :scusthov: and that's just off the top of my head.

I agree he puts up numbers but can you really be considered elite if you dont lead your team to wins? How you gonna be top 10 but havent even sniffed the playoffs?

Is it really his fault?

Let me know when we enter the segment of the argument where someone says "man those teams weren't that bad, they had talent. Put one of LeBron/Bynum/Cousins/DeMarcus Nelson /Donte Greene on there they'd make Wes look like a star," because it's not far away.

In the West, with Adelman as coach, I don't think any of the bolded could done it, and I'm being generous.

If a healthy Wade and Drose ain't doing it...Then Kobe sure as hell isn't. Without a supporting cast(like both had a for a few years during their primes) his career is right in-line with Wades.

Do we need to review what the word "always" means?

I'm not gonna knock Love for not dragging that bum ass team into the playoffs, but Kobe dragged a bum ass team into the playoffs twice during a period when the Western Conference was more stacked than it is now.

Kobe had Kwame Brown, Smush Parker, and Luke Walton as starters on his team.
