I'll elaborate:No sir. We can agree to disagree but you're actually wrong because you're stating that as if it's a fact. A pure PG does what I described in my last post. It's your opinion that its a mask for covering up flaws, etc. Steve Nash is a pure PG as well. IMO so were Magic & Stockton. What deficiencies does the pure PG label cover for them? Not that it'll change my mind, but maybe you can explain exactly how your equation above works?
and there's no such thing as a pure point guard, certainly not today, that term is just a mask for a player's flaws/inabilities.
The PG position has evolved; reaching it's apex at the moment with Rose, because at his core he's a so-called 'pure'/true point guard, except he doesn't have the flaws/inabilities that other 'pure' PGs in today's game have:
Paul: elite-athleticism, finishing at the rim, power
Nash: See above
Rondo: Where the hell do I start?
Now you may say Rose is an exception to the rule, nah he isn't, he's actually living antithetical proof that that term belongs in the bushes. Saying that Rose isn't a 'pure' point guard is implying that he's an impure point guard, which is FALSE, to folk that actually know about his history at the 1 spot. This is Hollinger's Pure Point rating scale (and yes, I do know that this isn't a definitive product in all people's eyes of what makes a pure point guard) -
Now tell me this - if Rondo had the ability of Rose would he still be looked at as a pure point guard?
at CP3's numbers. D-Will completely shuts him down. CP3 shoots only 43% from the field and CP3 is a pretty damn efficient as hell player, while D-Will shoots over 50% against CP3. D-Will is 13-4 against CP3. The last 2 years D-Will has been playing with bums, but now with real talent, I think he is gonna have a great year.

These kobe stans cryin over this shyt tho?

top 10 player aint cant even carry his team to the fukkin playoffs
