there should've been a criteria to where you have to have been in the league 10 years or atleast 30 years old to be on the list as of today

Ok he played both positions. That's why I said he could've been on the pg list. Same thing with lebron.

You can't put players like that in a box. Penny played SG too. He just had point guard skills despite his size. But True pgs typically can't start at the SF position and destroy someone like Pippen. Or posterize 7 foot centers on a nightly basis.

Penny was a great SF who could play the pg position very well. That's why he's top ten.

Bruh, STOP IT.

Penny was a Point Guard. He was drafted as a Point Guard, he played as a Point Guard.
He only played other positions when his knees went dead.

Ok he was a "point guard" but had the size skill set of sf. He played sf better than Pippen and other sf at the time. Hell always be a point forward to me. Calling him a point guard is like comparing him to Nash, Isaiah, Chris Paul or Curry.

Penny was a completely different player. I don't know why some of you can't see the difference.

Some players can't be defined by just one position.

Magic, Lebron, and Penny = all point forwards. :manny:

Pg or not, either way, if you put him up against the players on this list and he's better than most. :manny:

Why are we arguing about the letter next to his name on a roster and not his skill set anyways? :beli:

1ab) Bird/Bron, I respect any view that believe either player is best at the respective position
3) Julius Erving
4) Pippen
5) Baylor
6)Havilcek
7)Rick Barry
8 a/b) Durant/Wilkins
10) James Worthy

Honorable mention: Alex English, Dantley, Pierce, etc....

Because the letters are the motherfuccking topic, that's why.

But anyway - the part I quoted from that post had to do with you thinking Penny played the 3 better than Top 50 threes.
I KNOW you don't believe that.

This was a tough list to judge. Nique shouldn't have been number 10 and Bernard King fits in there somewhere. But who do you knock off to put him in there and Melo and Pierce too.

hes this list's isaiah thomas/allen iverson.

Pippens legacy is winning with Jordan and losing without him. Pippen is one of the best at defense and posterizing though.

the bulls with pippen and no jordan >>>> the bulls with jordan and no pippen
