About the Nas signing with Def Jam...uh...that is because Jay pursued Nas to sign with Def Jam...to me that is some stalker, wacko, rabbit in the pot shyt...this dude Nas has embarrassed you...this dude nas has turned the word ether into something iconic...like the bat symbol...off if your name...then Nas just moved past the shyt...so in the end it wasn't even a big deal to him...after a few weeks he was just like "yeah whatever I responded to him it's over..." And years later Jay is still following this dude around trying to sign him? Like...what...why? Why would you want anything to do with a dude who embarrassed you like that? Only an obsessed Nas stan could be that much of a glutton for punishment...
About the Carmen thing...uh...that was nas baby momma...not girlfriend...not wife...baby momma...do people not know what a baby momma is? A baby momma is a woman a man has a kid by, but the man does not want to be with that woman for whatever reason...so somehow jay is being seen as pulling a power move by having sex with nas baby momma...where the very definition of her being a baby momma implies that nas did not want to be with her anymore...so now jay is getting credit for having sex with a chick that another man didn't want to have a relationship with? This always struck me as creepy to...cause it has been will documented that Carmen states that all Jay wanted to talk about was Nas when they were together...
