For the longest time I thought he was straight amhara but I found out he was oromo and amhara. It was shocking since the habasha look down on Oromos (the most populous ethnic group in east Africa).

I’m just curious to know what he’ll be replaced with. While I’m not a fan of the government, Ethiopia hasn’t been the best at the turnover of power. Hell, I was born and raised in America because a whole generation failed at their attempt at revolution and destroyed the country they wanted to liberate.

Admittedly, I haven’t been paying close enough attention but I’m worried that the damage might not have already been done politically to destroy national unity. It seems like the tribes distrust each other and living in the DC area where the loudest voices of the diaspora are located I haven’t heard anything substantial with regards to an alternative to what’s currently in place.

I’m just hoping for the best. Damn near my whole family is there so it’d suck if they went back to the bullshyt.
