I don't really fucc with NY Drill, I like that Westside Gunn and Benny The Butcher sound. I might start checking out Fivio Foreign since he's pretty much the only Black American out there. I think I've seen an interview of him talking about his family's background stating that he is clearly a Black American, but I forgot what interview it was.

In nyc, AAs, and caribbeans live amongst each other. That’s why Fivi biggest hit got haitian lingo in it.

He is the best rapper in drill. Pop just had better hooks and songwriting. Pop also has better verses in general, but he could never hop on a song and outdo Fivi.

All this online division is only online. After centuries of slavery, AAs and Caribbean ppl vibe with each other in real life. The need to create hostile division between us usually only comes from the unwanted among both groups

Every friend group I ever had was a mix of AA, caribbean and hispanic, usually Dominican/Rican. Maybe that’s just a east coast thing. I see a few ppl out west confused about Hispanic and black relations. It’s warranted, because Hispanics are confused about it too.
