I have done this on job applications and got a call back on every single one. I was sitting there and they were trying to keep a straight face and I was kind ofat them the whole time. My parents named me responsibly and I know how to sound like a mutant over the phone so I got through the phone interviews easily. That's actually the only reason I have a job now...
You have to, black men have manly voices and asexual/slightly homo white males don't have any bass in their voice.My brother does this

White women see the benefits of AA more than anyone else but white refuse to admit that fact.White people know it...they know in their hearts how much of a privilege being white is. For all their bytching about "losing a spot to an affirmative action beneficial", they know that being white will ultimately result in a sum-benefit when all is said and done.

"Other" is the same as "Black."For what it's worth..I'm okay with checking "other" or "care not to respond" or just not answering on a job app.
White folks have black people thinking that affirmative action is actually combating racism in this country...it clearly isn't. You're better off hoping that you get some accidental privilege than banking on "diversity hiring" or whatever.

Okay, so I'm going in for surgery and the whole time from talking to the medical billing staff to meeting the specialist to speaking with the hospital I'm being asked some variation of:
What is your race?
What is your ethnicity?
Now, I'm no sucker. I know there is ZERO benefits for saying "Black." In fact, if you go by the stats it's pretty much assured you're going to be getting sub-standard care and sub-standard outcomes if you're classified as "Black."
That's why when asked I always claim I'm white. That way, I get any benefits of being classified as white.
I encourage all of you to check "white" whenever they ask you your race or ethnicity over the phone or via form. Hell, even in person. That way, you too can avoid the institutional pitfalls of being classified as "Black." There is nothing positive that is coming from the whole racial classification game. I'm not going to play. You shouldn't either.
On a slightly different subject,but kind of similar my cousin who is a straight white male, applied for his local police force, and they had some kind of Poilitcally correct quota going on ,so said he was gay on the application form, got accepted despite the fact he would been arrested for punching a girl while drunk outside a bar and cautioned (slap on the wrist that goes on your criminal record) and then fukked his way around several of the women recruits at the police college,. He was pulled up by personnel,they threatened to kick him out as this bull dyke instructor told them ,he said he was 'confused' at the time, job was in the balance as they claimed he was untrustworthy because he 'lied' (which is a joke how many times have the police fitted someone up,or been on the take ?) ,in the end they let him stay ,but he is a marked man, now,just waiting for him to put a foot wrong. Can't see him being in the job long to be honest.
