I mean if we could turn back the clock, this is probably where many should have straight up stepped in regardless of how much he was pushing away, and kept priority focus on his health. In a lot of his streams he was getting huge donations, and all the time he would spend several minutes talking about how he can't figure how to thank them more than he did. Then mention Youtube cuts his revenue because of some of the shyt he says in his vids regardless of how many followers he had. so he was basically surviving off the donations for the most part he was barely getting shyt off youtube alone.

at some point clarity hit the man harder than a brick hitting a car from the 10th floor. And he had too much pride to open up about it due to social media consuming him the way it did.

The shyt that Etika said is nowhere close to the hurtful stuff Low Tier God has said towards his own people. Etika may have said some crazy stuff in the past but not to the degrees of disrespect and self hate that LTG has done.

I found out about Low Tier God from here and he is weird with that self-hating shyt, Breh.

What's even weirder, is that the last time I watched one of his videos (2-3 months ago) , he was actually blowing up. I only watched the video that was posted here, then I started getting mad recommendations from him.

I hate to see young black men succumb to depression, anxiety, and take their lives...this is sad.

That "hanging with white people" shyt is bullshyt. Black folks from all walks of life struggle with depression and mental illness. Hood shyt is just as self-destructive and suicidal to be honest.

Ya'll be out here acting like ALL of us don't know someone depressed or sociopathic or just struggling. Mental health has never been and never will be something that exists in the realm of white people exclusively. The moment you stop thinking that way is when we can really start helping our young people through these issues.

Too many black men feel as if we can't share our emotions with people, that we got to just hold it all in until we can't anymore. Life is not easy. I know what we go through as black men, and ridicule from other black men is the reason we tend to not discuss issues pertaining mental health in fear of looking weak. That shyt needs to stop. It's okay to be depressed. It's okay to feel down. It's okay to be emotional at times. It doesn't make you any less of a man, let alone a black man.

Agree shyt is distasteful as hell. Especially when you think of the double pressure being black adds onto the simplest day to day things. Many snap from that. I'd seen some of Etika's outbursts. That breh was not well.

The problem is many black people do not seek help for their issues and family and friends overlook it as 'eccentricity' and the person gets worst for it. admitting it is the first step. I know too many people. Mostly black men who got sectioned as people ignored very clear signs they were not mentally well. And none I knew hung around white people like that.

If you know someone in your life not acting right reach out to them.

Damn, not trying to speculate or anything but the way he acting in that vid resembles how I used to get energy wise during a manic episode. shyt is a rush, sometimes I still miss them.

Obviously he has a lot more going on, but the rebound from those highs is equally as bad.

It's sad and all he died, but let's not overlook the fact that he said questionable things and overall carried himself in a way that makes it hard to apply the "We lost a brother, black people need to be open about mental illness" sentiments.







I hate to come off as disrespecting the newly dead, but let's not overlook how he disrespected himself and his race in order to appeal to his white gaming buddies. And look where that ultimately got him. Mans was crying for help for MONTHS while his "friends" laughed at him or shrugged him off.

I dislike when people do the keyboard militant routine, but dude was a weirdo, even without the mental troubles.
