The world:
If you take away civilian access to guns, crime will go down, but AmeriKKKa makes money from guns,
so it won’t get rid of them to protect its citizens.

“OMG, how does crime go down with less access to guns :mindblown:

:francis:

No offense Europan Breh; but in my era we packed blades not guns. and the homicide rate was super up.

Don't try to spin this in the Europan office is funnier than the American office cause we're 2 dumb shyt :francis:

Homogeneous societies with strong social and safety programs.

The violence in America is intentionally encouraged.
This. There are quite a few safety nets in place. Overall, as I've said before, America is a stressful ass country. :francis:

Many of those countries (Particularly Scandinavia) have higher quality of life metrics than the United States.

When you have a strong safety net you’re less likely to start killing people. When you don’t have the stress of medical debt due to a shytty health care system you can breathe more easily.

I always believed part of it is that currently they benefit from US wars but don't technically have to start them. Just support them militarily and politically, washing their hands in innocence and sparing their coffers in the process.
They pay very little into defense but their territorial integrity, preferential access to markets and resources is guaranteed by their alliance to the US.

so do they politely ask people not to step up on their criminal activity and they just oblige :russ:

Killing with a blade and hands is a lot more intimate and personal lol. That shyt takes a lot of effort unless you get a lucky stab/slash.

Shooting someone isn’t very hard at all.

I know euro-brehs do get shot sometimes, stabbed up, and get acid thrown in their faces, but it’s a bit different when it’s time for confrontation. Especially compared to a place like here where guns are plentiful and life is relatively cheap.

Like you see somebody you got an issue and you got a 6-7 inch blade on you. Even if you’re a crash out you still have to take that extra time to really plot it all out, consider if your op also has a big ass blade, consider if there are witnesses and cameras, consider if your op is in better shape than you, THEN decide if you really wanted to commit yourself to crashing out lol.

Some factors I think are straight forward:

- Gun control
- Some countries have better standards of living comparatively, which mitigate crime and recidivism
- Surveillance states (a lot of those countries/cities have a lot of cameras)

addendum - europeans, historically, tend to do their dirt elsewhere rather than at "home". sent their criminals to australia and america. pillaged "new territories" and kept slavery largely to their colonies - just a few examples.

"what prevents Americans/South Americans from going over and taking over the criminal underbelly?"

- contrary to popular belief people in the criminal world have guns over there
- borders/border control (i believe it is hard(er) to get into some european countries if/with a criminal record)
- their criminal networks tend to stay off the news. I'd imagine establishing a criminal pipeline wouldn't be easy if/when the locals reject you

Well they are making up for it over there in Ukraine/Russia.
europe as a whole had by far the highest homicide rate in the world last year, but it somehow never counts because their killing is in a so-called civilized manner

looking at a map of the history of violence is all you need to realize it's epigenetic among them, even most of the wars in africa were whites fighting each other over colonial rights

A kill in a war is different to a homicide, which is what OP was talking about. Even then, for the last 80 years there was not a high murder rate of any kind in Europe. A few wars with smaller nations but thats it. Putin is the primary cause of the current situation.

WW1 & 2 make up the majority of those deaths. WW1 was a war nobody wanted, a huge waste of time and resources. It also sowed the seeds for WW2, but again you can also primarily attribute that to one man. The nazi party would still exist without him, but he was dictating policy and was their charismatic leader.

Theres lots of other factors of course, eg Europe having historically more sought after resources, and lots of parallel cultures and languages close together made it more likely to clash.
