In a lot of ways, yeah. You have access to more technology and information than anyone that was born before you ever had. On the other hand, it seems like even uneducated losers were able to easily prosper and own property back in the day and that's not a reality for many people anymore.

True, back then you had more good paying jobs available. You could have graduated with anything in college and automatically landed a great job.
