even as hip hop junkies, who regrets owning 300+ albums?

I don't even play them anymore and and all those songs are on youtube now :yeshrug:

They are just in my room collecting dust since there aren't any stores I can trade them in for cash. Who else feels what Im saying? There is really no point of having all those CDs since we got spotify, youtube, illegal downloads:mjpls: and other alternatives.

I love my CD collection. I don't use it because I ripped it all to my server.. but there's nothing better than seeing the spines of your cds (dvds and blus too) all lined up on a shelf..

another thing... If I ever get a harddrive failure I don't care because I have the originals ... of what I want anyway.. Most of my digital collection I don't even want but it was free

On the contrary, I regret not really taking care of them. Problem I have with mp3s is that I can go years without even thinking about this or that album just because I don't see it. Browsing through a CD collection is nothing like browsing through an mp3 "collection"
