The juxtaposition highlighting the beard is obv strongest on the original white face, but for some reason Beli's shirt specifically features a dark/black face on the "terrorist", and no it's not green like the shirt.
The shirt itself is some bootleg bullshyt ripping off the "Life is Good" brand that features stick figures doing non-violent activities such as relaxing on the beach and playing sports. Seems ripe for a nice copywrite lawsuit.

Probably cuz it wouldn't look right on a Black shirt. The soldier doesn't have a beard so there's no need for juxtaposition on that one...he still has black arms and legs too tho. Probably cuz race/skin tone has nothing to do with what they're trying to convey with the shirt. It being a soldier and an Arab is all that matters to the message.

Y'all keep saying this, but how do you know it?
Their website says they're only currently selling black implying they sold other colors previously. Beli didn't design his own shirt. The owner is interviewed in the article and is flattered by Beli's fandom but doesn't indicate having directly dealt with him.
As far as why they changed the color, again you guys are assuming that the black shirt is the original. Not necessarily true. They clearly want to show that the Arab is darker than the soldier, but it doesn't work to highlight the beard on the black shirt.
