From an IGN interview:

IGN: So, I have to ask… You got brought into the Brie and Stephanie story the other day on RAW in a very interesting way.

Daniel Bryan: Wait, by "interesting," do you mean "stupid"? [Laughs]

IGN: Well, you know, it's wrestling... anything can be brought into it! [Laughs] So for you, was that like, "Okay... I guess that's going to be an element"?

Daniel Bryan: Yeah, to me, it's groan-worthy. I don't think it added anything to the story. It was just like, "Ugh!" But, you know, they do what they do, and you just gotta roll with the punches. It's funny, because I feel like sometimes you just have to overcome these things more so than anything else. Like, Brie and Stephanie have to overcome that flaw. To me, that was a flaw in the story. The story was so good, and then here's this flaw in it. But it's whatever. It doesn't hurt my feelings or anything, you know? It's entertainment. It's not real, so okay

I mean, if Bryan is telling you that the storyline is stupid, then the storyline is more than likely stupid. :snoop:

IGN: Is that something you have to keep in mind as far as -- you mentioned this with Brie and all the girls who are on Total Divas -- you guys are traveling, traveling, traveling. So when you do even the little bits on Total Divas, do you have to decide, "Yeah, how much of myself do I want to put out here?" and how people might react to seeing a very different side of you than the in-ring performer?
Daniel Bryan: Well, my biggest concern with the whole deal with Total Divas and with WWE -- and, you know, they want you to be engaged with social media and all this kind of stuff -- I don't want to live my life to entertain other people. I love wrestling and I love the entertainment aspect of wrestling, but the rest of my life I just want to be able to live and enjoy my life. I don't want to be living it essentially for other people's entertainment. That's a lot of times what you're doing when you're doing the reality TV stuff. Like, "Okay, you can go about your daily life, but you have to go about it and be entertaining while you do it" -- and not entertaining to yourself, but entertaining to people watching the show. I kind of reject that. I just try to be me, but it's still cameras in your face. How much can you just be yourself with that? So that's the part I struggle with more than anything. I talk with Brie about it all the time. I don't want to live my life to entertain other people. I have other things that I'd like to do. So that's the hardest part.

The underlying message in this answer is something that I see a lot of people that obsess over social media missing. You know, the kind of folks that get so deep into wanting to document every moment of their lives with a picture or status update. You shouldn't live to entertain the people that are watching. Find a balance. Good stuff right here.

Well, I hope he enjoyed his Wrestlemania moment
I doubt he's worried, he only got that moment because the fans kept shytting on the shows and Punk quit. They were backed into a corner and had to run with him to salvage mania 30. They didn't do him any favors. And he's right anyway.
