Another thing men can do to protect themselves is to NEVER have sex with a woman that's intoxicated. The problem with these very simple and obvious suggestions are that men like to claim that asking women to verbally consent up front ruins the mood, but if that's the argument, you must acknowledge that you can't have it both ways.
