The Devil's Advocate
Call me Dad
watching this documentary on DMC from Run DMC the other day... it always happens unless you don't really care about the fame in the first place..
one day you're a broke bum or even doing ok.
next year you're saying "wear this" and MILLIONS start wearing it. you write a song and millions sing along and pay money. you do a show and 100,000 people show up screaming your name
next year you're a nobody.. you got all the money but nobody cares about you again. not only do they not care, they shyt on you every single chance you get. your friends say "he ain't got it, lets go" your girl, your brother, all do the same. magazines, label, people you thought loved you, now laugh at your name.
its gotta be depressing if you lived off that. not money wise, but emotionally lived off that love. you thought it was real. that they really loved you. its destroyed many men from business to sports to music. 50 is no different
