Ever cried during/after a game?

2004 AL championship seriesDidn't watch sports center for a month and a half.

Never watched one replay of that series until we won the World Series in '09.

I just felt empty after that, but I had tears after the '96 WS.

Last basketball I played as a college senior.

Lost by 4 points in the 2nd round of the Big Dance.

It was after we shook hands and went in the tunnel... and saw the other team celebrating... and my boy (the only other senior along with me) was on his knees in tears.

My coach is the first guy to make it to us while I was trying to pick my boy up and he tells us both how goddamn proud he was of the both of us.

I broke down trying to pick him up and basically cried with another grown man over a basketball game, brehs.
I'm not even remotely ashamed to admit it.

My last football game

I remember when we were watching to see who got in to the playoffs like

In Louisiana there are three teams that you'd rather not play in the first round and that was

West monroe
Evangel (5a state champs)
John Curtis (4a state champs)(20+ state championships)

In the 2005-2006 season they had dropped Evangel and John Curtis to division 2a

To make things worse our mediocre ass team was sitting at .500 and 3rd place in our district.

As the selection show goes on our school get called towards the end but we missed both powerhouses

Us seniors thinking we could have a legit Cinderella run because we won't see them fools till the semifinals.

We played our first game vs. The #3 team in the state and it looked like it was gonna be a dog fight until everyone started dropping like flies

I almost broke my neck on an onside kick recovery

Me and a few more seniors had to sitback and watch our 2nd team get mauled out there
We cried and took it pretty hard(pause)

I still them sophmores and juniors that fought for seniors that night.
