Most of what I listen to is demonic

That shyt is real. Being demonic is not necessarily anti-god though. God is the whole, and demonic shyt is just part of the whole. You gotta have the demonic shyt and the blessed shyt to completely understand god and self.

I'm a negative person, so I listen to negative shyt. It energizes me and makes me more spiritual. Not in a demonic way, but in an introspective way.

But Fam I'm speaking on the MUSIC itself, not the motivation behind how the music is disributed and advertised..

It seems to me that when i plug in my headphones and listen to the Weeknd (and I used to do it high off the kush) I would feel nothing but Demonic Energy from the MUSIC itself..the message that i got from the music (Asides from the lyrics) was just dark

I know alot of people will try to blame that on the weed, but I think it just makes it much easier to REALIZE what you're listening to. I remember sitting in my drive way one night blazed listening to Death Around The Corner by Pac and just had an eerie ass feeling come over me. I don't know if it was the subject matter, but I put that shyt out and went in the house. Watch this...

But let me add this, I don't think that music has any power over you when you know what they can and do put in music, and you have a belief in God and whatnot. One person listening to Jay-Z might become very materialistic, while another recognizes it for what it is and doesn't 'worship' it. And to be honest, it's easy to see the effect music has on some fools because you can see it when males (who claim to be heterosexual) essentially bow down to a male entertainer like he's a god. One look in the Booth and you'll see examples of this.

I really only skimmed over this thread, but just because music feels dark or isn't offering anything that's benefiting us intellectually, doesn't necessarily mean that it is demonic or not benefiting us in other ways. Like another poster stated, art is supposed to be an accurate representation off the world.

Not everything we soak up as human beings has to have some sort of intellectual benefit.

Sometimes I go on kicks where I listen to a lot of electronic music with no lyrics when I'm bummed out because it clears my head and gives me this sense of clarity.. sometime's I listen to punk rock when I'm feeling negative about the state of the world and cynical about the majority of human beings because it's what I am identifying with at the time and it's nice to not feel alone..music that triggers an emotional and relative response can be just as beneficial to human self.

My views are quite atheistic, though.. and I listen to what ever is enjoyable to me regardless of the message so I guess what I'm saying is irrelevant in the long run lol

I'm just lost in extreme relativism and can't get out. I've always been down and negative, so that's probably why I'm attracted to demonic music

Colors ARE a critical subject of study in marketing and various colors do have an effect on moods.

In graphic design color classes, they define that yellow is supposed to be associated with quickness and speed while red is supposed to stimulate appetite. Color has direct physiological effects on the brain. Red increases pulse, blood pressure, and respiration while yellow is the easiest colors that can be seen from the longest distance.

So, what are we waiting for, let’s see how many fast food restaurants have their logos in the strong, attention getting contrast of red and yellow or any of the two colors.
