I'm a very kind person, pretty long fuse but there is deep, trauma and anger underneath all of that, avoid putting me in that space for both of our benefit.

Same , stuff came up in therapy after being pushed to ask questions I’ve mentally locked away. The human mind is shocking.

There are two survival mechanisms most ppl know about fight or flight but few know about the disassociation mechanisms where the body goes limp, faints, develops amnesia or plays dead in order to survive.

Fight or flight = mobilization
Disassociate = immobilization (meaning you are going through trauma but can’t escape)

For me I was 11 years old and I was talking on AIM (remember that shyt) to this girl the convo turned to sex n shyt…. Few days later my parents were told about the convo Sat me in a chair and with mom on one side and father on another they made me read the convo back to them smh… i couldn’t fight/flight so I disassociated and developed amnesia about it but the trauma was trapped in my body… fukked

Yup, didn’t think blacking out was a real thing until it happened to me …I remember arguing, then next thing you know the person was on the floor. Don’t remember the minute or so in between .

Just goes to show that its not good to make assumptions. There's too many people on the world that only believe in what they've experienced themselves. "I've never seen it so its not real"
