Currently The Store Manager at a Dollar Tree and it's the WOAT.

Number 1 I'm on salary and have to work at least 45 hours a week and usually more depending on if something needs to be done or if somebody can't come.

Number 2 I only see my boss the District Manager once a month so they supplement that with weekly Group Phone conversations with all the Store Managers where he fusses at us for not meeting absurd sales goals. Like Last week we were all suppose to sale at least 1000 20OZ sodas :mjlol:

And Number 3 I hate Customer Service, having to deal with People in general , having to deal with all my employees bullshyt, and having to be responsible for the store even on my off days

I just Hope I can make it till the end of 2019 and I'm quitting to focus on my last year of College

Yep. Computer Science but I've only going part time Usually just 3 classes. I try to get all my classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and take those days off and do any reviewing between classes. I make the schedules so if I need time to study for a test I just work around it . Other than that a lot of early mornings and I try to stay ahead of the class material especially during summers or Christmas Break

Really? Why???
They put too much pressure on making what They call "Multiples" which is basically convincing a customer to buy more than one thing. The management micromanaged me to death, I hated it. Just to confirm I worked at Finish Line & loved it... used to be one of their top sellers because I could convince people to buy shoes and the spray that keeps water from getting on your shoes. I felt appreciated... got promotions... it felt like family. But when I left to go to Footlocker I felt more like a number than a person. I used to HATE coming into work...

Finish Line>Footlocker... :pacspit:

Working for college hunks

I’ll list the shyt here

1. I was working exclusively with hood nikkas with a country white guy and some random Hispanic a$$hole incharge

2. All these nikkas smoked, weed, cigs n shyt, all in the truck and shyt.

3. Half these nikkas could not speak correctly for shyt

4. They never got me certified driving the trucks and I always had to fukking drive and that shyt used to fukking piss me off because those dumb stupid ass nikkas didn’t have drivers licenses. HOW THE fukk these nikkas, almost all of em got kids and don’t have a fukking license. fukk ass nikkas

5. Getting called in broke the camels back for me, I don’t play that shyt. The cac basically told us if we were working every morning and one Sunday he did that shyt even tho my scheduale said I was off, he didn’t even fukking ask, and I told them I was done

I’m working at Best Buy now, still some bullshyt going on, but, I like it.

Yep I worked at Office Depot/Office Max for years. Good ole boy management, glass ceiling no matter how hard you worked, constant ridiculous new demands sent down from corporate, no fukking payroll dollars, having to harass customers to buy warranties/computer services/sign up for rewards, shytty pay, shyttier customers. The only good thing was some of the people I met along the way and also having access to work on people’s computers. I was just telling someone how looking back I wasted some good years there due to being complacent.

I worked at depot for many years jan 2014 got a new job and worked at depot part time until September. I liked it as a part time job because of the no fukks given attitude after the new job lol.
