I usually let CACS know the following (in a low key subliminal, matter of fact manner):

• I have a Father
• I have a Non Black Woman
• I was not raised in the hood (at least not full time)

Those 3 things typically lead to them being less intimidated. I can then be myself without having to watch my words as much. But there are CACs that will hate you no matter what. So be on your guard (slightly) regardless .
