Yes. I own living in a material world as well as All things must past. I prefer all things must past, but both are cool. Check them on Spotify.

I actually like Lennon's solo work a little more. Imagine got me through some tough times.

Thanks, I'll check them out.

I hadn't really thought to check out John's stuff because I had assumed it would be too "weird". And everyone always shyts on Yoko

I do love the song "Imagine" though, I'm not a communist but I think that song is really wholesome

A lot of his stuff is strange BUT Imagine isn't. I'd check that one out if I were you. Plastic On Band ain't bad either--but Imagine still is the better project.

Yep, not in depth enough really, especially with albums post Living in the Material World. All Things Must Pass has some great songs of course too.

I enjoy Paul's solo work the most, Ram is one of my favorite albums of all time.

Walls and Bridges from John is a nice listen.

Can't speak on Ringo's solo work, but I've heard "Ringo" is a good album.

I just found out recently that Ringo sang on Beatles songs. And With a Little Help From My Friends is one of my favorite songs of all tine.

But thanks, I'll keep all of that mind

Thanks, I'll listen to it when I get home

Side note: John Lennon was basically the un-Mick Jagger. He must be one of the only rock stars to have an older wife

They were a strange couple, yet they were perfect for each other. Yoko was more of an experimental/visual artist, and John dug that.

They engaged in weird shyt though. I have this Beatles magazine where this psychologist talks about using primal scream therapy on them. They'd literally scream to the top of their lungs and eat raw fish :laff:. Here's a funny ass clip of just how weird they were together. In this clip theyre performing at a festival with other big acts. During their performance Yoko brings a white sheet with her and puts it over her and lays on the stage floor, while john performs. All she has under there is a music sheet and a microphone :russ:. At one point, John has to snatch up the fukking sheet and take the sheet music from her, so he could figure out what song they had to play next :laff: :laff:

Fast forward to 22:40 to see it :laff:. Their performance starts around the 19:30 mark.

They were some fukkin weirdos! But you're right that they seem natural together, and that's a lot more respectable than someone like Mick Jagger who can't stay with a woman his own age.

It's still crazy to me how someone chose him of all people to assassinate. And this is lesser known but George Harrison was nearly stabbed to death in his own house but his wife saved him. Apparently he had serious lung injuries from that, I wonder if that contributed to his death 2 years later.

I just listened to Paul McCartney's new album, while it didn't blow me away, I thought it was a really good effort for a 76 year old. It has some good songs on it

Wow I did not know that story about George being attacked in his sleep like that. fukk. His wife had to knock the attacker unconscious to barely save George. Crazy & tragic

Yeah it's crazy to me that there were assination attempts on half of the Beatles, of all people. I think George was a pretty low key guy too, not sure why someone would want to kill him ofher than mental illness.

And he still died 2 years later :mjcry:
