Ever listen to music on AM radio?

I randomly checked out what AM music stations are available in my area and there are only 3. An oldies, gospel, and traditional Mexican channel. I listened to the oldies station (which only operates during daylight) and I enjoyed it.

I actually like the warm fuzzy sound, it's like going back in time. I wish there more AM music stations to listen to.

Back when me and my friends used to joy ride in America in the early 00's we'd catch a few AM stations that played hard or classic rock and we'd drive about aimlessly drinking beer and Vodka out of soda cans on the sly.

Grew up on WLIB Saturday & Sunday reggae.

College years there was a 24hr hip hop station for a few years. But AM was usually sport talk and the pro black news channels

I think that's an allure to it as well.

One of the few AM radio stations where I live that plays music is actually really good. It's an oldies station but it only rocks until 5PM to protect a station in Ohio with the same wavelength

"Oldies" is 70s and 80s music now (it used to be pre-Beatles music), I'm going to feel when 90s and 00s is included

Last time I listened to music on AM radio I was in high school. The quality wasn't so great, pretty much only useful for talk radio.

Agreed. It's like a "cleanser" for me and it does introduce me new shyt that I actually like sometimes. Unfortunately the 2 hip hop stations in NYC are shytty, they play the same 5 songs over and over. Can't go 10 minutes without hearing Drip Too Hard

I've started listening to AM talk radio weekly. It is actually pretty good hearing other people's opinions in a way that is more positive than online interactions.
