The 3rd Verse's First 8 or so bars sum up Baltimore's situation.

Things just ain't the same for gangstas,
Cops is anxious to put nikkas in handcuffs.
They wanna hang us, see us dead, enslave us,
Keep us trapped in the same place we're raised in.
Then they wonder why we act so outrageous,
Run around stressed out and pull out gauges.
Cause everytime you let the animal out cages,
It's dangerous to people who look like strangers.
Ironically, it was written by Eminem, an Anglo.

Any other songs or verses that translate with current times. Stuff from 2005 and earlier.

Yo, on the scene is the brother that's big, I'm not a little kid
I'm a nig who don't dig a muthafukkin pig
Cause to me they ain't nothin but harassers
That misuse they badges to whip nikkas' asses
Then one day they slow rolled through the hood
With the .38s cocked, 2 deep, up to no good
They say that my skin was black so they attacked
Threw me on the back and stuck a gat to my fukkin cap
One murdered my man like it was okay
For the life he ended he got suspended with no pay
But if a man woulda took the cop life, he woulda got life
And never again see the street lights, and that's trife
Around my way they shot many teens
And them cops better stop, or I'ma stop em, by any means
The Big L won't hesitate to cold diss em
And if you ask me, muthafukk the whole system
There are too many young black brothers doin life bids
Cause justice means 'just us white kids'

When I was younger I always felt this was one of his weaker songs. I couldn't appreciate what he was saying till I started getting harassed for doing nothing.

I am not hellbent on lyricism but the young black male experience right now in America. You cannot say it doesn't apply.

this has ALWAYS been the young black male experience in america :what:

it applies to america but does not specifically detail anything that has happened in baltimore or even anywhere else in the last two years for that matter
