:dead: drop out of school brehs

So what is an acronym?

An acronym is an abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word
So eg. C.I.A. is not an acronym, because it is not pronounced as a word, it is an Initialism; but NATO is.

Acronyms

NATO = North Atlantic Treaty Organization
NASA = National Aeronautics and Space Administration
WASP = White Anglo Saxon Protestant
CAC = Calm And Collected :troll: (I'm white but the opportunity presented itself I had to take it)

Initialisms

NFL = National Football League
CIA = Central Intelligence Agency
FBI = Federal Bureau of Investigation

Anagrams

Breh = Herb (even though Breh isn't a real word, I just used it for the sake of the thread)

Dog = God

Stun = Nuts

I visited several countries in Europe not too long ago, and it's scary how uneducated Americans are as a whole. Not that anything like this thread is important in just about any aspect of life, but it is indicative of much larger problems we face. Especially considering how much time we spend at school and work, and the cost of school at every level, it is really disturbing how awful our education system is, and how uneducated we are. Even sadder is how much we bask in and are proud of our own ignorance, as though America is always going to be the world's leading superpower by default.

EDIT: Though today in more informal settings, it has become more accepted that an acronym doesn't necessarily have to be able to be pronounced as a word. A sign of the times more than anything. Instead of making people work harder to reach the bar, they've just lowered the bar again.

I think acronym is the word I'm searching for. Too lazy to google it.

But yea brehs basically be callin everyone herbs lowkee

Edit: not even an acronym. Just herb spelled backwards.

Not only did you use the word acronym wrong, but you wildly misinterpreted the meaning of anagram, or whatever other word you were looking for.

Breh is in no way a lowkey way of calling someone an herb. They are not related in the least bit, unless you want to draw the conclusion that the people who use the word breh the most are weirdo hipsters that live in the most gentrified areas of the country and are therefore herbs, however that would be the reach of the century (especially since plenty of regular people also use the word breh). With that being said, nothing you said makes sense.
