Jay's legacy as a pop artist making HITS is 98-01. Big Pimpin, Hard Knock Life, I Just Wanna Love U, are big hits and his hits. And he had a bunch of smaller, but actual hits in that short period of time.

This is bullshyt and I am not a stan of any rapper. Reasonable Doubt is a well made album with songs holding up to this day. In my lifetime vol 1. also a great album. It's the hard knock life vol 2 when things started going downhill with some of those beats sounding hella corny years later.
