lime juice??? man GTFOH. what the hell does lime juice clean? do u wash your dishes and counters with lime juice as well???? :aicmon:

This is another nikka folklore I don't abide by I agree with you.

Heat alone will kill any bacteria. if you want to marinade ur shyt with lime juice or whatever I get that, I do it for certain dishes but you realistically not "washing" shyt.

unless ur in the backyard slaughtering your own chickens, there's no feathers and blood on chicken u got from the store :camby:
Do you think I'm just lying about this?:dahell: I don't go to some high end supermarket. I shop at a regular Key Food here in Brooklyn and often times when I buy chicken it might have feathers still on it, slime, yellow fat or blood still in the veins. I wash my chicken to get all that extra stuff out.

you not lying,
but answer this

which kills more germs?
A) water
B) Vinegar
C) Soap
D) Extreme heat/Fire

Answer D. Cook your meat to proper temp and its clean and safe to eat.

Wash it all you want and undercook it, you will still get sick.

They didn't end plagues by washing all the sick and diseased. They burned the bodies
Wipe off/ remove any feathers or visible dirt with a papertowel. Then cook the shyt out of your chicken and you good.
The only reason we wash our bodies with water and soap is because we aren't fireproof and will die if we set ourselves on fire.

I buy chicken wings, thighs and legs. My chicken breasts are usually fine so the most I might do is brine it but for the other chicken cuts I have to clean them off.:yeshrug:

It’s not just about bacteria, I wash it to clean out slime, blood and excess feathers.:mjpls:
Yep. Nothing to do with bacteria, just to get rid of all the crappy skin, feathers and weird stuff on chicken nowadays.

Only for wings though. I have to cut most the skin off. But all other cuts of meat, I dont wash.
