I went to New York and Miami by myself.
I went to New York to catch the Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, & Arsenio Hall show at the Radio City Music Hall. That was my first time in NY.
My solo trip to Miami was also my first there. I linked up with several groups of women looking to have fun. This was one of my favorite trips. Move at my own pace. I literally stayed up all night smoking weed and cigar and watched the sunrise. It was so beautiful. A couple mornings, i had a cup of coffee and sat on the beach for the sun to rise.
When you travel by yourself inspect your weed closely. I try to get anybody I hang with IG. I want to see if you have something to lose back home. Dont venture off too far, remember you're an alien. Defuse any issue that could arise and/or tuck your ego and walk away.
I want to do a Cali trip solo next. Get a rental and AirBnB all the way down the pacific coast highway for a full week.

Domestic flights are stupid cheap right now.
I'm bout to take some time off and visit my cousins who are all spread out around the country.
A 4 leg flight DC-Dallas-Tampa-ATL-DC was $300 total. Booked it asap

I went to NYC for a day by myself. It was pretty cool. 
I try to do at least one solo trip a year. So far I’ve gone to Seattle, Portland, LA, and NY.
One of the best reasons to travel alone, is the ability to do what you want, when you want, and it’s cheaper since you’re not paying for your girl or doing group shyt with the homies.
At LA, I timed it, so I could see the Lakers and Clippers play on the same day. I had the first row behind courtside at the clippers, and a VIP box for the Lakers, all decently priced for 1 seat
(around $120 and $150 respectively).
I would’ve paid the same price for 2 mediocre tickets with my girl, and would’ve had to be answering questions about the game all day, so this was def a W.

All of the time. I drove from jersey to cali by myself a few times. Went to Vegas by myself twice...traveled to Turkey, Italy, Israel, and various parts of Africa as well...nothing like peace, solitude, and being able to do what you want without worrying about someone else
I take myself out to eat and to the movies by myself as well

Did you rent a car? How long did it take you? Did you plan stops before hand? How much did it cost approximately?

I've been to Paris, Dubai, and Ethiopia by myself. I've been to several other countries in groups but in my experience, it's better to travel solo. That way, I am on my own time and I can do what I want to do and when. Of course it can be dangerous traveling alone but I just travel light, stay in touristy areas, and don't dress too flashy. I'm headed to Colombia in a few weeks but this time I'm solo and I can't wait.

I never traveled outside family vacations, but I imagine traveling solo will make you a well rounded person. There's just something about being able to adapt in any environment and have a good time whereas most folks need friends around.
